thai baht rate update

Seem like the rates have gone to 25.3 (super rich, bangkok).... can anyone verify? or it is because of non banking hours and over weekend?

People doing currency swaps for Thai baht up 20%.

SINGAPORE: Money changers at Golden Mile Complex have reported a 20 per cent increase in the number of people doing currency swaps for the Thai baht.

The complex is frequented by many Thais, and the increase comes as the value of the baht fell significantly against the Singapore dollar recently.

The money changers said Thai workers are also remitting money to their homeland in larger amounts, from 10,000 to 250,000 baht at one go.

Some shops said as a result of the political turmoil in Bangkok, prices of Thai products have also gone up by five per cent due to road closures in the capital impeding the export of items to Singapore.

However, Singaporeans are taking advantage of the exchange rate, as they continue heading to Thailand for their year-end vacation.

Malai, supervisor of a remittance agency, said: "What's happening is only in Bangkok. All the customers said they are going to the north of Thailand."

Found another shop offering same rates as green superrich n blue grand superrich along the same street. So another option for all bros changing your baht.

It's pink Power Exchange. On right side once u enter Rajadamri Soi 1 from the main road. However, best rates is still for S$1000 bill.

Confirm info is correct, just change 25.6 for SGD and 32.12 for USD with that new pink power exchange.....saw superrich rate and too crowded, and their SGD rate was like 25.55 so first time go to pink power....saw there farang owner and few syt speaking english well.

Dun worry of zap, later my power back will up u, cheers.

I only managed to change at 25.5, I believe this week will be better until 5th Dec. Next week, when I come, likely to goes back below 25.4.... cannot be cruel to hope for the protests to continue...

Any way there are Green, Orange, Blue, Grand and 1965 Super Rich. Somewhere I read Super Rich 1965 is the original. Any others?

Money changer just to change money lah, original also no use if their rate lower then new comer.....just walk around superrich zone opp central world, beside big C and check their rates.....sometime diff colour got diff rate...like today I change with PINK

Ya. Pink power seems good n not crowded when I walked past. Next time can go there.
