That is really quite expensive. I have been thinking bout it myself for something but definitely not at that price. Will check out on what gov hosptals charge instead. Wonder if it is covered by medisave ?

I just enquired in KPJ hospital in JB, it costs RM1400 for laser circumcision.

Hi Brothers, I just did mine on Tuesday. Cost me $1700 plus; round up to $1800. Medisave is about $700 so I still need to fork uo $1.1K. Was quite a fast procedure. Only 30mins. Tomolo's my follow up checkup. Will keep you brothers posted. Cheers

some info:

i just did mine 3wks ago at Mt Alvernia.(1.5k "knife cut")

cost me 1.5k. The Doc was fast and good i would say.

I was told the "laser cut" will heal faster which cost 2.5k +/-(1wk+ to heal)
The 1.5k +/- is "knife cut" which takes abt 2-3wks to heal.

I went in the Ops for 1hr only. In fact, not sure how long, cos I fall asleep with the morphine drug and when i wake up already done!

Now fully heal with a super duper pinky sensitive head!!
Currently preparing for a virgin bonk

btw i'm 30yrs. my experience is not very painful(bearable)
the painful part is when there is an erection and for my case, 3rd day is a bit more painful due to the inflammation.
4th - 5th day inflammation subside. I really don't find it that painful.

overall, WORTH IT!!

First of all, many thanks to DehOne for starting this thread, and to all who have contributed.

I've also been seriously considering a circumcision lately, especially after getting a very nasty urinary tract infection a couple of years back. I remember being on anti-biotics, and having to use a small syringe to administer antiseptic solution to my little brother as my foreskin cannot retract (the tip of the gland is visible when it's both flaccid or erect; it just won't retract fully). Laser circumcision looks like a very attractive means of getting the job done, as I've read that the wound is a lot tidier, and may even heal faster.

However, I have also read that topical treatments such as steroid creams are now a very widely chosen remedy to phimosis. Has anyone here had any experience with such a topical treatment? If so, please do advise, thanks!

Better do it before u become an old man lying there and doc told your relatives that grand pop need to cut foreskin because for regular infections.

Imaging the pain and suffering at old age.... I encountered such old men before at hospitals.

had mine done at the age of 6, could remember the recovery process was so painful. perhaps a lower threshold of pain at a young age

I had mine no choice, after 2yrs of married no kids. So decided to visit sex doctor with OC. The consultant a well known lady Dr recommend cut foreskin. Of course i was scared, that time i was 30yrs allready.

Laser done in G Hospital, 2weeks MC. Recovery stage painful, sleep straight ate vega food. Chinese belief after surgery no oily stuffs, pass motion easy abit. Some time not careful, bleeding and Dr said take painkillers. Worse after MCs returned to work, women colleague especially Malay women LOL.

1told me, her son did it when he was a boy. Me at age of 30s, but after had a kid. It is all worth while, i tell u. Yes! Yrs later, bonking is enjoyable and put on CD much easy. Nowonder that lady Dr, told me i will enjoy sex but bare with it for a period of time. 2mth maybe?

Shared secret, few WLs at PT loved my dick. 1said is clean and easy for her to work. HAHA. However, for men not religious and not like mine case. P/s think again, it is operation and there r risks.

Finally, advice men with this giving birth medical problem, if need of course Drs will tell u so. Do it ASAP, this gen of work biz pressure environment. The healing process, troublesome and long MCs unless u done it young. Say around 20plus.
