I too dislike being touched by a stranger and honestly don't know how different I would have reacted if a pebble or seed hit me...how can just ignore or give the person a look after that...a feeble response will just encourage the person to get bolder the next time around...

What would be the best thing to do...?

Is It dangerous going there alone? Should I check in my luggage to prevent any problem at the immigration. Thought of going there from 2-5 August. Any advice from the experts here?

No expert but just my opinion. There are many who go solo and as long as one behaves sensibly it should be fine. If can travel light (hand carry) even better but no issue if checking in luggage

Expect foul weather in August but on the flip side, easy to get accommodation and plenty of girls to choose from

I been coming to AC alone most of the 8 years I been here, on and off. Still alive but slightly bruised. Having a cheque coming from my travel insurance soon. BUY, cos the odds are good.

Play safe. Try to avoid confrontation. Avoid risks situations. Best is safety in numbers.

Having bag checked in or not will not affect your immigration process. Never a problem for Sg or My men. Only problem is your budget and limited time there.

Luggage no diff check in or not. Typhoon season already commenced. Safety wise stay along fields and you are definitely safe. Wear t shirts and Bermudas plus sandals will put you in same dress code as others. Stay at hotels along fields. I just tried Swiss
Chalet. Quite nice little hotel in fields yet not noisy. Clean and good service. 1503 peso a nite after 5% discount Must book thru email early. Always full

Luggage should not be much of a problem, but do remember not to bring more than PHP10k, Customs WILL ask for sure!!! Rest in your own currency. Rates in AC is pretty good.
