Finding a FB in SBF ! Is it a disaster in the making or a blessing in disguise ?

It will be a blessing if you both have an agreement beforehand. Some like their FB exclusive others don't mind. It's different folks, different strokes. When you start to assume, that's when the trouble starts. E.g. Assuming that the ladies will be in higher danger of getting emotionally attached in FB r/s than the guys.

Totally untrue because in my precious FB arrangements it has always been the guys that start to get all sticky and possessive when we have stated beforehand that it is not exclusive. Want to be so moral might as well find gf/bf. At least that's my opinion. It is totally not true that ladies cannot compartmentalize sex and making love. I for one will never be able to go any further with a FB because what I look for in a bf/ husband will not be what I look for in an FB.

A true blue Singaporean gal ! In a bf or hubby selection criteria . More factors are considered especially the financial stability and the job stability part etc. In a FB selection , looks and physical and chemistry are tops .

Honestly not matter what relationships you are in ! if you handle it well ; you still can still gain from what you lose . A ex wife becomes your friend , a ex gf becomes your FB etc . Those who brag about conquests , FBs and flings can do so until the cows come home but they should know very well that they should only be proud when their partners brag about them not they about themselves . There will always be someone better and more capable . However I agree very much with you that one shouldn't be too fervently thinking about having a FB, sex, and all the things that comes with it. There are many more things in life that could be accomplished !

Juz to share, I found a FB in SBF, but not thru the thread i posted in the swing/orgy arrangements section, in fact i got zapped n accursed of being overly sincere n a phony in the way i replied, but i digress.

i didnt have to buy Chanel bags for my FB, or dine at fancy resturants. It wasnt a statement saying im of a high income bracket or have a car that caught her attention, but she did say im above average looking. But i guess it was mostly becoz i was respectful n sincere in my "application" when she posted her thread. And we don't msg each other often, but when we meet up, we can talk about things on an intellectual and personal level...maybe not too personal coz we only met up a couple of times so far, but comfortable enuff to share like friends who've known each other for a while. And frankly, my FB don't strike me as an attractive looking female(average, but definitely not ugly), for me its not so much abt looks, i enjoy our time together becoz what i want is to feel being wanted physically by a woman, to be able to give and receive physical affection and be mostly(not absolutely of coz) sure it is not abt monetary rewards that i can offer her. I only just pay for meals n the hotel room, and not the luxury kind, and i do that becoz as the guy i feel i shuld and she never once explicitly requested that i do(at least she is subtle wif letting me pay for the expenses instead of outrightly demand it, wat more do ask for). And also, the portion of our bedroom activity that i enjoy most is the giving, not so much the receiving. So far i've not fallen for her just becoz we had sex so i cannot relate to ppl who fall deeply in love wif their FB or FLs they engage, but nor do i treat her as a sex object becoz its juz weird to treat a FB like a lifeless sex toy, all abt sex...end of story. my point of view is, i show care n concern even to guy friends, so if i like someone enuff to fuck her, how the fuck can i not wanna show care n concern for her right? but of coz, in moderation, with respect to her privacy, and only as much as a friend would. i've not yet let my feelings run wild n outta control, hopefully it wuldnt happen.

Guess wat i'm saying is there's no need to generalise a FB relationship. Different ppl, different reasons, different expectations and different experience. gain or loss really depends.

never bragged abt having a FB before. i would brag if it is a social norm and widely accepted. but its not. None of my guy friends who have FBs bragged abt it. So ppl who brag abt these things strike me as idiots. Coz it has the opposite effect on normal ppl. Only other idiots will be impressed wif the idiot who brags and say "wow"

Hot sex does not equate to status of guy to you but its dependent on the chemistry of you and him in bed and out of bed .A promiscuous BF is no better than a non exclusivity FB . The more FBs you have , the busier you get and the more tired you get . Especially when they dun know about each other cos some FBs want exclusivity . Well don't bite off anything you cannot chew , thats what i will advise anyone .
