Agree loan sharks don't do this. If any lady jumps to her death and the Singapore Police finds out the reason why, the loan shark is in deep trouble. But supposedly the husband sold 1 shot of his wife and 1 shot of his daughter to someone to raise money, then the buyer can pose as a loan shark to get the ladies to comply right? The ladies are more likely to comply if they think the buyer is a loan shark and not just any normal buyer right? The real world can be a very cruel world.O

Hi Jovelle, I've sent you a PM, and symphatised what you've gone thru because of your father. But I sincerely hope that you did not do anything that you would regret for the rest of your life.

I've encountered the same loan shark problems before and it's just a year ago. My situation was very much different from yours as they claimed to be some kinda financial company, but turned out to be loan sharks.

I took this loan of 2k from this guy namely ken. And I was required to pay weekly of 250, and if there's any default of payments, there will be a additional 60bucks to your principal amount.

I've understood all these terms and conditions as I was once from these gangs when I was younger. So I tried my best to work part time and get weekly payments to pay off the debts.

However, one big mistake this guy did, was to splash paints on the wrong house, which is mine. Immediately, I called and confronted ken and rectified the whole matter, but he denied. However, I knew it has to be him as he's the only loan I've taken, so he's messed with the wrong person.

We started debating on the phone in hokkien, and he started hurling vulgarities at me, and I retaliated which in the end I won. He ben threatened to go to my home and beat my father.

Ultimately, I just wanna bring a message across to all brothers and sisters here, never to give in to all unreasonable loan sharks request, and of cos there are also understanding ones. If ever you and your family felt threatened, make a police report immediately and seek help, and not meeting up with these people unless you have some connections with the triads.

morning to all once again.. come to think of it.. sometimes i also feel, my life is like those drama we see on channel 8 or 5... very dramatic... ppl can choose to believe or not to believe... its all up to individual.. no wrong or right though..

upon reaching home, i asked my mum abt that stranger that offered 1k... my mum juz stared at me and never said a word...

next morning arrives, and i did not went to sch, bcuz i refuse to spend any money on meals and transport.. thinking that now i cant spend any cent.. every cents counts... its juz like any other morning, till 2 indian guys turn up at my doorstep and my mum went out to greet them... so as much as i guess, they are my mum "customers"

all along this 2 indian men kept staring at me, like i am 1 of their choices too.. i juz felt disgusted juz by them looking and staring down at me... i quickly grab my mum arm and dragged her to the kitchen area, asking the 2 men to sit grab a seat first...


me: mum, why are u doing this again? dad came back already.. he will kill u if he do know abt this...

mum: we have the loansharks to clear, ur sch fees, our daily usage, meals, electric and water bills.. ur dad told me he is going out to find some part time jobs or what.. guess he wont be back so early...

me: but this is not the way to do things...

mum: then why dont u tell me... what other ways u have in mind to solve the current problem? we only gotta a few days..

me: no i dont have any...

mum: then?


by then, my mum left the kitchen and head to her bedroom and signalled to that 2 men to go into her room... i did not know whats going on inside her room.. but i think more or less should be the same... i did not want to hear and sound coming from my mum's room, so i went into my room and covered myself with all the pillow i have on my head... but still, i still can hear faint moaning sounds coming from my mum's room direction...

mum: i dont wish too, but i dont have the money for ur studies, meals, transportation, water, electric bills... PLUS dont forget ur dad still owe my frens some money.. ( i assume my dad borrowed from my mum's fren when my mum said that)

me: but..... shldnt we wait for the organisations to reply us then we decide?

mum: so in the mean time, we are supposed to eat air or grass?

me: why dont u let me do the deed for u? its my sch fees, so i shld be the one working...

mum: WHAT? u dont even think abt it... have u done that before?

me: done what?

mum: SEX!

me: no.. i am proud to say i am still a Virgin.. and i admit, all my previous bf did try to have sex with me, but i stop them...

Nice story initially till the part on loansharking.Selling your virgin for 1k is simply stupid cos they are people willing to pay much much more.At least 8k or more.

Ah Long is singapore are cowards.They wont meet up no matter what?They only use cowardice acts behind the scene to threaten.Furthermore your story states you all met them at their office in geylang which is simply incredulous.
