Dear Threadstarter, the very fact that she works in KTV means she wants to make money, may be lots of it. She did not ask you for status because she would not have any intention of having a status with you. Try asking her to be your GF and you will know it. She might show some extra interest just because she wants someone to share her views and thoughts; may be, she would do this with some others too. Better maintain it at that level.
And, I don't think that she will agree to leave the KTV job unless you find a means to finance her more than what she gets now-and that too, when she is sure that it would be for a longer time. You cannot get to know her and come to a conclusion in just two or three encounters. You better wait for more interactions with her; then you may understand her nature and intentions more clearly. You will then be in a better position to decide whether or not she is worth to be your GF, and whether her nature and intentions will allow the relationship to last longer.

In fact i tell myself not to mind if she were to be my gf and continue to work, But im not sure if i can handle it....

 U better Wake up Bro!!! I seen a lot of such cases & jus to tell u tat one of my best friend comit suicide bcos his $$$ kana cheapted by one of the stupid KTV gal n now he is gone!!! U get what i mean!! If u reali want to be wif tis KTV gal then u better take care!!
