My last visit to AC was back in 2009 until I got a call from a friend last week who wants to cheong AC and looking for kaki to go. Since I was in between jobs I agreed to accompany him. Made the necessary arrangements and met up in budget terminal for Cebu Pacific flight. My friend (Mr A) brought along his colleague (Mr T). Mr A's last visit to AC was last year while Mr T is a regular to Manila. He has been to AC only a couple of times before.

Arrived at DMIA and cleared immigration without any problems. Went up to the taxi counter and asked for 300p taxi to checkpoint. But they refused us saying no more 300p now minimum price is 400p. So lan lan agreed the 400p and he dropped us at Jollibee. On my previous trips I always stayed at the Pacific Breeze but Mr A wanted to try out the new hotel (Devera) beside Ponytails. So we walked in and asked for 3 Standard rooms. But they only have 1 Standard room so again lan lan took 1 Deluxe room and 1 Jacuzzi room.
They charge us 1800p (Standard), 2400p (Deluxe), 3600p (Jacuzzi). Mr A took the Jacuzzi, Mr T the Deluxe and I took the Standard. Went up to the room and got a shock, it is so cramped inside. Never mind quickly put wallet inside the safe and went down to change money then proceed for dinner at Tequila Reef Cantina. Mr A wanted to say hi to his friend Chris the ownerof the restaurant but he was away in Pattaya. Quickly wallop the food and then proceeded to our 1st bar Agasya just outside Tequila Reef. Went inside and immediately u-turn out because totally no customers inside. Next bar was Crystal Palace followed by Tropix, Body Shop, Las Vegas and Eager Beaver.

All these bars CMI and Mr A suggested taking a break from barhopping to try out the videokes which some bros wrote about. All 3 of us dunno where they are located but agar agar nearby to walking street vicinity so we went in search. Walked all the way to MacArthur highway but could not located the videokes. Asked a roadside vendor where is the location and he directed us to "walk up MacArthur towards the roundabout and it is there". So we followed his instructions and came across a police raid along MacArthur highway. The bar being raided was Club Fairway. There was a black SUV, 2 police vehicles and a tricycle which Mr A said belongs to the commander of police station 4.

So we decided to forget about the videoke and walked back to fields ave. Went to Angel Texas, Club Asia, Cambodia, Blue Nile nothing was gam leh. Finally in frustration Mr T suggested we go to the bar with the most expensive girls and we landed up in Golden Nile. Somehow this bar clicked for us and we had a great time there. We ended up spending all 3 nights in this bar.

The most expensive barfine are the Daddys Girls in this bar at 4000p but when we saw the quality of the girls.... we were disappointed by their looks. The normal dancers were better looking than the Daddys Girls and they were only 2000p. Even the waitresses had more quality than the Daddys Girls. I wonder how the management grouped the girls and set their prices.

But they were all fun loving girls from the waitresses, dancers, tequila girls and the Daddys Girls. We enjoyed ourselves very much here and all 3 of us barfined girls from here for all our 3 nights.

After the 1st night we decided to change hotel as although the Devera was new but we could not get used to the tiny spaces. Mr A could not even use his jacuzzi bcause it was clogged and could not drain properly. We moved over to the Pacifc Breeze and they had available rooms. We choose 3 Executive Premier rooms and they charged us only 2800p. The rooms were easily double the size of Devera room and had big bathtubs too. The girls loved staying here and every afenoon we had a crowd in our rooms as the other girls from Golden Nile come to join us to use the hotel swimming pool.

Dirk Kuyt, Thanks for your FR and also the photos. I guess in your effort to post and arrange the FR, an ambiguous statement was made. Very common mistake. Initially I was shocked but after a moment, I guess you made an open statement of frustration directed at no one in particular.
