Okay just some additional info for those wanting to book another hotel on the same Bui Thi Xuan St. (cos Sunflower is now always fully-booked due to ..........sigh..........)

Tan My Dinh has opened another hotel (not the main one near Ben Thanh) called Tan My Dinh 2 about more than 1 month ago. The whole street was jammed when they had their opening ceremony.

Maybe he is referring to Maxim? or similar type of joint? Girls there are mostly quite nice, and most cannot tapao one. At least not to me. I tried asking once and she turned black face and walk off, then manager came and ask me to leave . Very very malu...

any idea whether this new hotel is gal friendly like Sunflower? the cheaper room rate I checked starts from USD 50...not cheap hor...

Pai-say no idea, never tried yet, looks quite posh from outside

Their Internet rates are ex and similar to their walk-in rates, try getting somebody local there to book for you, last year I got my counterparts there to book for me at USD39 but was at the main one near Ben Thanh.

Now even with my months of advance booking nearly got no room at Sunflower last month cos the idiot staying in my allocated room wanted to extend his stay last minute

Hotels here have been fully booked for the past few weeks.. and the rates are going up by about 10-15%...

this is happenin all over HCMC, so dont be surprised.

Got to tell my g/f to book for me liao. Dunno if hotels in Q8 (643 Ta Quang Bu'u) will be affected by the increase rate and holiday season. September i stay there at S$20/night.
