yes i will get it tested next week.... thanks for the assurance for HIV, its really not a good feeling hanging there whether tio or not

basically dcs is run by the government and check for all type of stds, hiv inclusive..
registration is required.

afa is a run by an organsiation and only test for hiv and syphilis. it is open only on certain days and does annoymous testing.. no id required.

both uses the same premises. for more info, check their webby.

Just curious to know...... are you all Singaporeans? You all have to serve NS or reservist duty so dun they have medical check ups for you guys anymore?
I remember when I was serving in the SAF..... it was compulsory to test for STDs after every overseas stint and at the annual medical reviews. If you are found to have contracted any form of STD..... into the Detention Barracks you go...... so although we cheong regularly..... all of us know how to cheong safely.

as far as i know, i never heard of medical checkup other than FFI a few days before ORD....

Just got tested at Dr Tan clinic and i must say,he is very professional assuring ppl that it will be fine!

After 20 mins of waiting,my result is proven negative!!
Guessed next time can only chiong massage and hj liao...

Nevertheless it was an experience trip to get tested.

I got my screening done at Mount E ..infection specialist on 6 floor. Male doc. very discreet and professional. Would recommend.

I was just wondering if i should get tested.

I had full protected sex for 1 minute with a massage girl.
Condom didnt fail.

Seems like a lot of sites suggest for a single fully protected encounter, there isnt a need to.

you are at low risk category..
it is really up to u to decide whether u want to go for the test.
i have seen a lot of people still do it for some peace of mind

Folks, went to Dr Tan's clinic at Robertson at 8 week post unprotected oral, protected vaginal sex exposure. Tested negative with the Alere Determine Rapid Kit. Was told that its conclusive although Dr Tan did say that MOH official guideline is 12weeks. Quick question is: 8weeks negative will it turn positive at 12weeks or later considering no exposures during this entire period?
