Really it depends on the purpose of the raid/check, if based on tip-off, you will see them quite regularly. If routine checks, nothing much will happen if there are no illegal activities.

As there are different class of license for MPs, one type cannot open near neighbourhood area or near school. The other can operate in neighbourhood area but limited to shophouse setup.

As for those roll calls and such, some clean SPA may have such rules or policy to reinforce dos and nots to the staff.
