Dear bro,
Is April a festival period in Clark?
Planned a trip to AC on April, and wanted to fly from KL this time. Checked Air Asia, got shocked by their fares, rm 1200 one way.

Just wonder any pal stayed at Park Inn hotel by Radisson ? A bro brought up this question of whether it is guest friendly or not. Make a call and the official answer is guest visitor is only allowed till 10pm. Seems that there is no way to verify unless some pal here stayed there before.
Any pal could advise ?

As far as I know..... ALL hotels in Angeles City are gal-friendly including the 5* "Government" hotel inside Clark which often hosts official functions & VIP events.

If they happen to have an event that evening with VIPs attending..... the hotel may request your guest not to grace the lobby if they know she is WL..... but she will still be allowed into your room via another entrance/stairs.

Last 2 trips I did it this way.

20 peso from T3 to Taft Ave Station.
Walk due East for 300 m reach Apelo Cruz road.
Take Philtranco bus 140 peso to Dau.
Bus is clean..fast and fewer passengers.

It helps that I look like a fat ugly and old Pinoy myself so I dun attract much attention from anybody.

But from Dau I prefer to jus sit behind a motorbike for 100 peso cos I have difficulty squeezing in a jeepney.

TomMAffolter must be correct, I said "about 300 peso" based on Subic trips but drop at Dau.

Anyway,it's still less than 10$ or 5$ no big deal I hope, vs taxi fares.

If not, stick to taxi to pasay -> Victor deluxe to Dau

First time I went to Taft Ave Station I asked 2 policemen for direction. I also was looking for Vic Liner. They showed me the direction but told me in no uncertain terms its dangerous to even walk that few hundred metres. They emphasized to me to be very careful.

In such instances I just leave it to fate. Its that or pay for taxi. Having travelled widely I jus enjoy taking buses
and creaky old trains regardless of the country I am in.For me its the journey jus as much as the destination.

Maybe I am jus lucky. Lucky to be ugly.

risks are everywhere especially in poor countries, in this situation just hand over the wallet but i would not have all my money n important documents in it.

if daytime i would take the walk, nightime take taxi.

Sometimes i roam dim streets near my hotel alone at night but make sure there r people walking n not deserted, even when people advise me to be careful in that area. And i m not ugly.

next time I will post accurate information, in case people like you get mad over the difference between 5$ and 10$ (we are not talking about 5 $ and 50$ here ... just to clarify), 5$ = can't even get a beer in Singapore.

So How much is taxi from terminal 2 to victory pasay? Exactly 198 peso one time, 220 peso another time, 212 peso another time, 242 peso on another trip.... like that is what you want ? agreed. It is better than saying between 200 to 300 peso right ?

Why I mention Subic ? I don't think I need to explain but if you want to know it is for advance booking. It won't matter to you i guess.

But you may find it bad to pay 10$ for a 5$ bus ride, so again, apologies for not posting 100% accurate information. Better others don't post estimate cost anymore.

And lastly, Please keep your other squabbles elsewhere, if possible. Or start your own thread, again, if possible.

honestly, plan B, please can you commit to answer all queries since you are all about accuracy ?

Promise that, so none of us can have to give estimate or approximate costs, God forbid the next one who estimated cost.

I don't want to hurt anybody anymore by making them spend 5 $ more (or wrongly budgeting 5$ extra needlessly... )

And I think everybody have more important thing than to nitpick the difference between 5$ and 10$ and how it can feed 3 people in lieu.

I hope you don't come after my estimate costs in the future, or you can tell me to stop trying to help.

Ps. Pasay to Subic by SCTEX is 243 peso, so please attack the others also who gave life threatening wrong information of 200 peso. After all 43 peso can feed 1.5 person. Right ?
