Abortion is not a crime in most developed countries. The decision to allow abortion was made because the issue had been thoroughly debated and a consensus was more or less reached that not to allow it is worse.

Clearly, aborting a fetus and killing a baby is totally different. Saying that they are the same simply reveals your mindless acceptance of what seems to be vaguely laudable in a moral sense, but is, in fact, totally mistaken. A fetus is not a fully formed human, unlike a baby.
