actually, its not totally safe i know of people who get pregnent even when having sex during period. Normally during period, the vaginal walls will be discharge and thus, will not be thick enough for the egg to be embedded. But, this differs from person to person as some might have much less discharge than others. under this circumstances, where the discharge is not alot, the vaginal walls will be thick enough for the egg to be embedded. I have absoultely no problems if you had said "chance of getting AIDS is higher if you do it raw" ... but why would doing it during the period add to the chances of getting AIDS??
