IMHO Hotel Utama hv the best location.
The street (or 2 streets) behine the Hotel hv th highest concentration of MP and booking joins
All within 500m.
If you are on budget Hotel18 just behind Utama.

Free Wifi offered in hotel Utama really sucks... personally I will never go back to book this hotel. Not sure about the golden gate or pagoda?

I do agree that it a is a little troublesome initially.....

one need to know how to ask for a room that hv stronger signal....
This apply to any hotel any way..
My SOP
when I check in any ROOM(expecially one that new to me)
I will test the wifi, aircon and Hot water..

Note that I don't say HOTEL
because diff room, even in the same hotel floor..
Would give you diff result

I used to assume that all reasonable hotels would hv hot water.....
But My experience in Dumai proved me wrong...
A 5-stars hotel with conference hall, health center swimming pool....
choose to switch off the water heater during low season for environmental sake
