Working and living here in Saigon or coming here for a few days to cheong were 2 difference stories all together.

For those who have baxa. Try this place Ha Noi & Toi @ 38 Tran Cao Van P6 Quan 3

The boss is from the north and he is also the singer. A one man band that sing viet oldies. For coffee or a couple of drinks.
A strongly recommened place for couple who prefer a cosy corner and not so noisy place. Nice music too. They start singing at 8pm.

Those who are looking for unique food. Try this Com Nieu Sai Gon @ 59 Ho Xuan Huong St Quan 3. Very special rice that were cook in a small clay pot. The waiter will smash the clay pot take the rice out and throw it to another waiter waiting at the other corner. They will served the rice with some mixed sauce. Very nice viet food.
