I did a similar maths before I come here. But from my humble experience stationing here for 2.5 months, the whole formula can throw out the window. Instead of my original plan to cheong once a week, now it's like I stay home (without cheong) once a week. Even when knock off from work after 10 pm, still itching to go out, farking many temptations here.

BTW, just found out that any vehicles registered in VIETNAM are not allowed to cross the border into Cambodia. Must get down, cross border and than change to a Cambodian registered vehicle.

EEErrrrrr....personally I prefer Gossip to Apocalypse. This is because most of the gers at Apocalypse are very very very average looking and a bit more matures. some are even below 5/10.

However, I must say that I picked up a ger once at Apocalypse and only once and it was an expierence of a life time to say the least. Most of the Gossip gers are young but veteran FL's. so i guess it is really up to you to decide for yourself.

Rental for apartment :

2rm - average usd$700 (so aprox S$1000)
Maintenace Fee - S$20 - S$30
Utilities - S$ 75
internet - S$30
KTV - $200 per trip (factored in all the basic things like tips/snakcs etc etc) please bear in mind that this is for low to middle class KTV. High end like Catwalk can set you back by twice that amount without gers.

Food per week - S$ 100 (Budget extra just incase got extra mouth to feed)

BTW, if S$2500 is only overseas allowance that your company is paying you, tell me, i move in with you or even better, I join your company...hehehehhe

yah it seems like they know i new to town...but i forgot to bargain before i get on the cab maybe cos tired. before that i know i have to bargain before i get on..so any other clubs/ or disco these days you would recommend... Is noblesse at Metropole still around? Or any nice massage places would be great with young syt types...thanks !!

eeeerrrr...why are you taking private taxis??? you should be taking the "company operated" taxis like VINASUN, VINATAXI, SAIGONSUN, MAILINH etc etc. The easiest way to recognise them is that they have a circular disc on the front, side and back glass windows of the taxi that have the "driver" nmber on it. They all run on meter and start at VND12000-VND15000. this one no need to bargain, and if they try to play punk with you, just take down the"driver" number and report them.

and yes, nobelese is still located at Metropole Hotel but I think it has changed mgmt.

Besides the usual Apo & Gossip, you can also try discos like Barocco, Echo or DND. As for DND, advise you to go with some kakis, as they dunt have FR but got heck a lot of syts to fish. My personal opinion is tat gals at Apo and Gossip are too seasoned liow (= old hen). Anyway, it's worth to explore all these places to experience for yourself.

Jetstar now cooperating with Pacific Airline. To my knowledge, the airlines are charged USD5000 per hour to stop at the airport. So, maybe it the flight from SG delayed la.
