Hatyai/Danok Trip 4th – 5th September 2010

After many many discussion and hiccups, we finally manage to go to Hatyai with Bro Alexey. Well he manages to get one day visa only for this trip. Nevertheless, we plan to leave on 3rd morning but due to a sudden urgent meeting (tender interview) so I need to stay back on Friday, thus postpone to Saturday…..well after many incidents….we leave on 4th morning at 1.30am…..and arrive in Danok at about 8am in the morning. Need to drive slow as Alexey car have brake problem….arrives in Hatyai at about 10.30am and there is where the actions begins!

· Park our car and proceed to the famous or shall I say my favorite “char siew rice” and the pig spare parts salted vegetable soup
· Our friend a bit restless and we went back to hotel after receiving some Thai baht that Ah Puan arrange to get someone to deliver to us in our hotel lobby. Due to the first weekend of school holiday, all the good hotel is taken up including Mayflower so we have to put up in Asian Hotel. The Danok immigration is a nightmare as the buses and the amount of people going in is terrible…..but we manage to squeeze through the short-cut….heheheheh!
· We went for our farming exercise with See Kim Yong first then follow-up by Chinnivat area.
· We had our fun as usual with our Thai Arjan Alexey, there sweet talking and breaking all the ice before deciding……! We had our girl some swapping with each other….will only elaborate during TT as the process is spontaneous…..! Hard to explain with words…!
