Any of the Masters in HCM can enlighten me on the cheaper alternatives in getting to Tay Ninh besides the taxi? Motobikes are out because its a hell 2 and half hour ride.. my bum cant take it .. Saw thru the posts that SS08 ever organize such trips out to the countryside.. anyone have lobangs for private cars and wats the damage like?

Almost every hotel has the leaflet that promotes this river market tour & the Cu-chi tunnel, very cheap & daily tours somemore, get the recept to book for you and the coach will come very early at about 7.30am to pick you up from the hotel. The last time I checked was about USD12 per pax.

Book 1 whole day cost 1 million VND but try to give some tips to the driver if you can.

Go PM my BIL-Vkiller, he has the number for the 7-seater, quite new & comfortable private car, cos I did not note down the hp number of the driver on last month's trip.

Suggestions for another? Especially a hairwash where you can get action on site and not just phone numbers?

none that i know of in the city centre..I do know of a few but they out in Binh Thanh..abit inconvenient if no transport... however...I going out tomoro afternoon for a recee mission to find for new places to have fun....

Nope they are just closed for renovations, not permanently
