Sure. Extra-marital relationships may, for many bros, be an escape path to unsolved issues among couples. If that is so, my opinion is the same as yours, becos escapism is a personal problem. My point is, in the first place escapism occurs when couples are unable to get either parties to compromise on fairness. If there is no absolute fairness in relationships, there is no consultative. One party will always call the shots. If one party is unwilling yet made to compromise, and he/she will only have 2 choices, escape the issue or negotiate until the other party accepts the short end. Otherwise break up occurs. No other logical way to solve such issues. In short, if no negotiation takes place, he/she quietly swallows what is being felt as unfairness and accepts his/her fate until he/she accumulates enough badblood to see somebody else outside the relationship.

Of cos, I can always substantiate my opinion by say, well I seen it, I heard it, my folks been through it, someone told me about it...etc.

Come on, what is it that you heard? How can consultative relationships with absolute fairness exist and works?
