A bro shared a very nice hotel (good for honeymooners) sometime back but can't find the thread now it is within CBD. That one got a very nice and romantic ambient, the rooms are nice too. Unfortunately forgot the name of name of hotel and lost the link. You have to book a room in advance, and yes it offers transient.

What I do is I reserve and check in and get the keys first alone with my FB waiting in the car. Then I bring my FB to the room.
