I too like Thai and PRC gals but nowadays HCMC is muc more cheaper to travel to than to those two countries .

This afternoon was quoted 12,900 for SGD, but managed to squezze 13,000 from the boss.
By the way, all these gold shops are supposedly "illegal" money changer.
I think they are all speculating that VND is going to crash, hence willing to buy your USD and SGD at attractive prices.
However, it seems like the police is going after them. Heard the lady boss mention "wind very big" these few days.
Think the rate for USD will come down further, because one "regular" customer" wants to buy alot of USD, and lady boss says "tomorrow is a better day".
I guess there is a "black hand" behind all these drastic fluctuations.

I talking to one of my customer in Hanoi today, was told that these very high rates are the "black market rates", the banks do not give such rates and some even suspend TT transactions in USD for a while until the situation become more stable. My customer had tried to TT some USD to Singapore and was rejected by his bank. He also tells me that there is a 90% chance that VN will be heading towards recession. This really sounds bad. Wonder what other bros who are stationed in VN have got news of.
By the way, this is just what I was told, I do not know how reliable the info is.
