As the weather getting cooler in HZ, I make a trip to Longmen (龙门) hot spring with my gal. For those who are tired of ktv & sauna everyday, maybe this is a trip that you can explore further. Below is the route that I took…longer traveling time but cheaper (comes with photos.

Decide to go ‘longmen tie quan resort’ (惠州龙门铁泉度假区) on 28/09 before china national day, so I book a room (龙府井豪华客房-带蒸汽浴)) from china travel agency (China Tourism Information Net). The room charge per night is rmb594.

On that day, together with my HZ gal, we took a bus from Huizhou bus station.

The fare from Huizhou city to Longmen is rmb30. The bus schedule is 30min interval.

The bus traveling time takes about 2 hours as the bus make a few stops at different area to pick up passengers.

Sorry, have to be next year liao...now very busy with singapore project. Alternative, you can ask uncle coolman or WKK to bring you around if you cannot wait for me.

Bro SBX,

Holy crap! How was the journey back from Longmen? My LT and I were there 2 years ago and the route back was one of the lousiest roads we have ever traveled on anywhere in the world. Due to the several cement factories, the heavy laden trucks delivering the cement along the way devastated the road.

In winter the pools are heated, quite shiok right?

Seem like there r also yanda in the DS area. All sauna operate on low profile mode.

Nevertheless. we decide to go Xin Li Jin as it seem to be safer.
The operate the sauna from the hotel room on the 10th floor. Understand all their special water bed in their usual sauna room has been dismantled on the advice of the authorities.

The stock was not bad many choice. We had a very "relaxing" afternoon. We had a nice Hakka dinner there before jumping on the bus back to SZ.

Hi bro,
I am a hot spring lover..As there is not natural resources in Singapore, we should try something that we don't have in our country (better than drinking & fxxking the whole trip). The road is so much better than 2 years ago. Now the timing is still not fully ripe, have to wait for another month when the cold weather come. Imaging you in hot spring pool during cold weather...then it is shiok..

Part 2
Upon reaching Longmen bus station, the time is already 1.10pm. There are 2 options to go Tie quan hot spring. Option 1, you can take a direct bus to the hot spring but only certain timing. Option 2, you can take the taxi outside the long men bus station. Happen that if we take option 1, we have to wait for another hour. So we chose option 2. We approached one of the taxi drivers, and he quoted us rmb40. We take the offer as I know the price is about there. The traveling time from Longmen bus station to Tie quan hot spring is about 15mins. Along the journey, you can see a lot of Kakka restaurants and store selling swim wear (so those who forget their swim wear, not to worry). There is also another hot spring resort on the way to Tie quan hot spring. The resort is named as Natural Hot spring resort (天然温泉). Understand from the taxi driver, this hot spring is smaller in size but renovated recently (I will try this hot spring on January next year).
After we reached the resort, we noticed that there are some renovation works going on (expanding projects which will have more facilities in future). Total there are 3 types of resorts in Tie quan Hot spring (family class, middle class and ‘cash king’ class). But all rooms are to be check-in at the reception within a white building.
The facilities of this resort include hot spring, Hakka restaurant (农家/客家菜), and lounge. After check-in, we walk a short distance outside the resort to try their nong jia cai for lunch. Their highly recommend dish are hakka chicken and 水磨豆腐. Then we slowly walk back to our room.

In my view, the bed a bit hard but still acceptable. The floor is ceramic tile, not carpet. All water in this resort is from the hot spring. That means you are showering hot spring water in your room too.
After some rest and ‘business’ with my gal, it is time to try their hot spring.
