I always swim in the sea whenever I am in Patts..... not on beach road side but at the other end of Pattaya on the Jomtien side. Occasionally I may even go all the way to the beach at Satthatip side. This is the best beach in Patts as it is very clean and not many people use it because it is inside part of the Satthatip naval training centre and you need to go past the sentry checkpoint to access the beach.

I can safely say almost all hotels in Patts are girl friendly.

Just curious, Sattahip beach is a long stretch... why will u need to purposely choose the part of Naval?? I always go to the resort in Sattahip....

Because the other stretches of Satthhip are not as clean as the naval controlled portion. The trainees do "area cleaning" on the beach every morning. Another reason is for safety and peace of mind as there's always the navy personnel keeping watch on the visitors so help is always nearby if lifeguard or other assistance is required. And the beach mafia / touts stay away from this area too

Not sure what u mean by not girl-friendly. Banning or requiring payment of a joiner fee? If the latter, this place charges B600. They have a sign with the price at the front desk.
