Well said bro!But i'm still in the strongest opinion that Lucas is best suited to be a referee!Coz he can run but without the ball la! To be frank, i only see one CB yesterday, that was carragher! Did we only have 9 men on the pitch?

Eh didn't see your reply bro, where have u been this while?

It's not the first time Rafa has taken off Torres and Stevie when we are in a winless position and there is an European match coming up - away at Fulham when Torres was taken off after an hour and we had Lyon coming up.

Well bro the really daft thing is, when Stevie plays midfield, the pundit will say, no cutting edge up front, and when he plays behind Torres, they will say, no midfield thrust. Lose-lose situation for SG and Rafa.

Btw no point arguing with the others la. I learnt long ago you can't change someone whose mind is made up. For me, I just come in and support the club unless there is some player who plays with no heart or with malice or the entire team. That wasn't the case against Birms.

Good point, but in fact we were the fitter side against Birms and fashioned half a dozen chances in the last 10 mins. That is much due to Stevie, Babel and Ngog; two of them were subs and the other used to playing with Torres.

It's only a matter of time, if not this season, then the next. Chelsea will be restructuring next season, Arsenal have not been able to deliver in the big matches. Maybe when the 'top English club' pressure is off our backs, our players can perform better.

To the question, we beat Chelsea, of course, that's the Pool way, be true to our values. 18 or 19, is just a number

Aren't we were told that AA was a straight replacement for XA?

And Lucas a replacement(competition) for Mache?

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

After we had a bad run I remember I told my bro in law that if pool were to knocked out of CL, I will hope and pray that we will not get 4th and go to CL next season.

Let's see it another way. With no cash coming in, the Yankees will he stuck with rbs calling in their loan. So the only way out of this mess is to sell their share in the club. They will not dare sell Stevie or Torres cos the fans will riot the place. They will be forced to sell by the banks, someone rich will come in and the fat Spanish waiter will leave cause he can't deliver the 4th spot as he guranteed.

So fcuk off Yankees and balls to u rafa. Both of you outlived your welcome. I rather have Martin ONeil screaming and jumping for joy at the touchlines than some prick taking off our Star striker with more than 20 mins to go. Even Stevie looked stunned and bemused by the substitution.

I beg to differ bro. SG wasn't able to bomb forward cos of his CM partner namesake "lucas ". Picture Masch partnering SG in CM and would Stevie feel more confident to bomb foward more ..ans is yes. Just look at the sunderland game.

Someone here mentioned yesterday nite was the same team as sunderland match. Wrong....we have agger to carry the ball forward...basically playing as another cm whenever he got the ball which inevitable free up SG and Masch role. Yesterday we miss him dearly.

Well, since Babel is banned in the 2nd leg against Benfica, why didn't Rafa play him much earlier against Birmingham then

Based on what they say of AA ability, his style is similar to XA, the type that needs to hold on the ball and direct play from midfield. But in the BPL, the system is simply too robust for him, I am sure even XA found this out from the broken toes he suffered, giving him no time on the ball while in Europe the play is more suited for him.

As for Lucas, think enough been said about him...but the main dif with Mascherano, he interrupts the opposing team with fouls more then intercepting passes...not that Mascherano have not been guilty of that too..

remember tat year blackburn won the title.. they were playing us in the last game and had to beat us if man utd won their match...

we did blackburn no favour by beating them... but thanks to andy cole, man utd just couldn't find a winner in their match and handed the title to blackburn...

moreover, blackburn was managed by our King Kenny...

we may well have a hand in the title race this year as we still gotta play chelski.

my friends n i joked that if Pool is out of contention for 4th place, then we might as well field a weak squad n lose to The Blues. the most we suffer a humiliation of a loss at home in an epl game. rather than suffer a much greater humiliation than Scums overtaking us with a 19th title. it's all abt PRIDE. im sure old wily fox SAF would be devouring his Scums to overtake us in the number of titles before he retire peacefully.

Haha.. Been busy...

True that we have taken key players off before an Euro game but this time, its totally different...

We are talking about Europa and not CL...

I am more concern about finishing 4th than winning that Cup...

Especially today news is that the fxxking Yankees missed a dateline to discuss about potiential investors bid..

The club in debts, we might not make it to CL, meaning no $$, no new signings, or worse, we lose key players through sales...

Future arent that bright thesedays....
