However better things to come - Pinay SYTs/nightlife!! The first time I visited Manila was about 20 yrs ago. Love the vibrant night life. Once walked from Hyatt Hotel in pitch darkness, to where the actions are > 2km away. Once got challenged by hotel staff in tagalog on return - all smiles when I replied in English.
