Unley Council confirmed the tenants at both properties were expected to leave by early November.

“Police will be in contact with both the council and Parkside Primary School when these inquires are complete,” an Unley Council spokeswoman told the Eastern Courier Messenger.

“In the meantime, both properties will be subject to ongoing monitoring and investigation.”

The spokeswoman would not reveal why the leases had been terminated, but referred the matter to police.

Chief Inspector Stewart Dodd, from the Licensing Enforcement Branch, said police were investigating the allegations but would not elaborate.

So that's 2 more brothels gone. I haven't been to either of these 2, but it's not hard to work out roughly where they are, given the description in the article.

I would bet one of these is an Asian house, as there has been an ad in The Tiser for ages for Asian at Parkside.

So pretty soon, Adelaide won't have any brothels left at all. Not even crappy ones!!

don't see what the big deal is. I bet kids walk past heaps of brothels everyday and don't know any better. Hope the new private members bill to decriminalise prostitution goes through parliament though. Will be keeping an eye on it. Hopefully if it passes will mean lots of sweet new places opening because they no longer have to fear the law.

We can only hope what you've mentioned actually eventuates. Imagine the simultaneous reopening of 121 South Road, plus the old place opposite it, plus Gibson St Bowden, plus a few newbies!!

This new law will make things easier for new shops for sure, but I think the reason why the cops cracked down on 121 was that some of the girls didn't have the right visa's to be working full time in addition to it being located in a residential area. The law turned a blind eye to it before, but after that new place opened up and started stirring trouble it just gave the cops another excuse to shut them both down.

Finally reckon I might have found myself a decent place.
It is along Morphett Road, Seacombe Gardens, near Marion shopping centre.
The phone number is advertised daily in the Tiser.
I went there a few weeks ago, but didn't opt for a session.
I called again yesterday, and they said they had 2 girls - 1 Thai and 1 Vietnamese. I only saw one (the Vietnamese), but believe there were 2 girls there.
The girl was probably around late 20's, slim and fairly attractive. Gave good service. I'd rate the service and the girl the equivalent of anything I got at 121.
Price was $100 for half hour, but I didn't want to stay that long. So managaed to negociate a smaller amount - $80 - for a shorter time (20 mins?).
The place and rooms seemed quite good. Clean and neat, well kept rooms. Certainly several stars better than what was the case at 121 - which was probably the worst part about that place.

Mate it's not in Morphet Vale (that's another 15-20km south).

This is place is in Seacombe Gardens. I think the number is 505 Morphet Road. Right next to the Salvation Army charity shop.

Yep - went there last Wednesday (26 Jan).
Service if consistently good - as are the girls.
