tonite is Carra's testimonial match. playing agt Everton. players like Owen , Garcia, hyypia will be featuring. would love to see the fowler-owen partnership but dun think the former will be comin back. too bad we dont get to see the live match on tv. think they will show it live to paying members in lfctv.

Why donch you subscribe? It is not expensive at all. I paid Sgd$46.08 for 1 years subscription which is only Sgd$3.84 per month. For that amount I get to see all the Liverpool matches live and all other extras. Very worth it.
And the quality is so much better than those streaming websites.

If I'm not wrong, they provide reserve and youth matches as well right?

ok thks for info bro. i guess i gotta upgrade my PC 1st cos current one not very good for watching online matches/videos. always freeze or sometimes hang.

anyways, carra's testimonial ended in a 4-1 victory for the reds, with the star scoring one. SG actually rushed back fr England's match n played 10 mins.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

happened to surf the net and saw the old news on Acquilani. cant help but shake my head at Pool's rotten luck.

Pool muz have made one of the worst transfer deals in BPL history last season, buying a player still recovering fr injury for 20mil, seeing him play for only a few matches towards the end of the season, and then loaning him to another club the following season.

imagine what we could have done with the 20mil. we could have captured a few good buys from the World Cup, like Ozil, Khadeira or De Silva ... or even Carlton Cole which we missed out. Spurs got Rafael Van der Vaart for a rumoured mere 8mil.

before Acqui was loaned, I was still dreaming with more games and match fitness, he may slowly regain back his form and add that sparkle in midfield. perhaps our finance is in such a wretched state that we cannot afford his monthly wages, that we need offload him temporarily to lighten the burden.

will Acqui become a better player when he returns from Italy after one season? or will Juve return us a player with broken hands and legs??? Keeping fingers n legs crossed that RH made the right move.

'Kuyt out for several weeks'

a big blow for Pool indeed. Kuyt will miss the crunch game against MU in mid sept. hope he recovers soon.

Mark down OCTOBER 6 - may well be an important milestone in Liverpool history - deadline deciding who takes control of Liverpool - the crook or the Angel???

Liverpool board would block mortgage attempts

I would not mind RBS forcing out the two bloody yanks. Pool board have proven they have working capital for this season.

Let's hope rbs sell pool on a cheap to a sugar daddy.

Seems like we will try to get Jap star Keisuke Honda during the January transfer window..
Wonder how much truth in that..

Which i wont mind given that we dont have a proper left winger..

Hicks and Gillett under more pressure to sell Reds

The pressure on the stupid americans 2 find a buyer has increased aft it emerged they may struggle 2 refinance their debts aft an October 6 deadline.

It is understood that RBS moved the debt 2 be dealt with by their restructuring team, which makes it more likely they will demand immediate repayment or instead sell the debt 2 a 3rd party. Tat move could allow the 3rd party 2 effectively take control of the club.

Hicks & Gillett bought Liverpool in 2007 using loans of £237 million & their company Kop Holdings' debts hv now spiralled 2 £361 million. They hv been actively searching 4 a buyer 4 6 mths w/o success.

Last month Chinese businessman Kenny Huang pulled out of talks aft considering a move, while a Canadian-based Syrian investor named Yahya Kirdi claimed he represented a group interested in buying the club.

Earlier this year Hicks & Gillett rejected a £110 million offer fr New York-based Rhone Group for 40% of the club.

RBS's position over their loan & its refinancing has contributed 2 the reluctance of interested parties to table formal bids.

If the October deadline passes & the americans do lose control of the club, the price for which Liverpool can be acquired is likely 2 be less with the americans out of the equation.

Would realli luv 2 see the yankees go back empty handed + a hole in their pocket.
Hope 2 see the $ fr the new owners put 2 good use, instead of going in2 the yankees' pocket.

2day is 10 Sept, 6 Oct is only less than 27 days away.

fully agree. Pacheco ought to be given his chance in at least the sub bench soon.

For Babel, i always feel he's a very talented player but who still have not played to his full potential. he can definitely do better. he can score some good goals as shown in a few matches last season but he can be lazy at times. As for Ngog, he tries hard but he tend to miss too much in front of goal. like the kind of striker who needs 10 chances to score one goal kind.
