no such rule. But for most of us here, the practice is to share good stuff with bros, and if people appreciate the effort they add you reputation points. NOT the other way round, i.e.you asked for points first before sharing, with a condition.

If everyone does it like you, this forum will become very exclusive to only those who have reputation power ie. those who have joined for some time.
