if not wrong it was mentioned in the news that she was seen speaking on her hp....some cities are already starting to implement laws against speaking on phone while crossing road.....honestly was the guy judgement so badly impaired that the accident was a case of his drinking...you can only fault him for failing to assist in a accident and running off but hell how many of you dare say you can maintain your composure after knocking someone down...

My callous attitude towards the death of hookers is well known. I did the same thing in this thread when some Geylang Thai Broad died too.

I'm afraid I have correct you there.. the life of some people is precious while the life of others most certainly isn't.

I mean let's get real here.. how on earth would the death of a HOOKER make any difference to the rest of the world. The only people who would be affected in any way would be the family, assuming they don't know what she was doing to earn a living, and her regular customers who enjoyed her services over the services of other hookers.

Now if LKY kicks the bucket, that would be a huge loss.. especially to Singaporeans. The stock market would be affected... so too would the housing market. Singapore would enter a period of political uncertainty which could affect business confidence and investments.

If LKY meets his maker tomorrow, I would be the first to express my deepest condolences.

Interestingly, amidst the 2-page writeup in today's New Paper about the death of this PRC, and how some rich customers donated money to her family, the headline news is related in a way.

For a separate accident, A-list MediaCorp actor Christopher Lee was sentenced to a month's jail, disqualified from driving for 3 years and fined $4,500, for drunk driving and hit-and-run. "Naive", "Deluded", Cowardly, "Insincere" and "Irresponsible" were some of the harsh word the judge had for Lee.

Would you say the 2 guys on motorcycle who were injured, deserved to be knocked down, simply because they may not be perceived to contribute more to society than Lee? One of the victims even had his left third toe partially amputated. Bo dai bo ji gena knocked down by some idiot drunk driver, whose fault is it?
