When I went to eat seafood at East Coast Seafood center, or a Clark Key say at Jumbo Seafood, or at No Signboard near Geylang, my bill for 1 crab, 1 fish, baby keylan, rice, beer was around $100. No kidding. Alone.
When I went to spoil myself at Wei Wei (one of the most expensive seafood places near Nagoya) with my 2 ladies, we ate crab, prawns, kerapu, sotong, gong-gong, veggies, rice, juices and beers, about 10 dishes for the 3 of us filling up the round table, I paid 750k. More food than we could eat without effort.
At least for seafood, the price ratio Singapore/Batam is about 3!
This explains why I always skip Singapore in my travels and I transit directly to Batam.

Passed few days in batam there are a few criminals case happened to someone we know.

Hv heard a robbing case weeks ago.
happen in the early morning an senior sg batam"PR", (friend,s ex-kos mate) been robbed under knife point near SK.

And now.... just withing a week there are 2 incidences of Rob,snatch and one steal case.

One happen last Saturday morning around 10am....
My ex- worker/driver, (now he work as a security at a kos ) been robbed under knife point,
Damages :
gold chain lost
neck injure

The other case.....
Sunday afternoon. at my favorites Gaint Basok stall (near SK) ...
N witnessed men on motor...
Snatched bag of friend from table.
Damages : HP KTP keyCard gone

The 3rd happen last night..
N's neighbour daughter's motor been stolen at P3.

My advice...
Pls be a little careful when in Batam.
!!!!!!DAY OR NIGHT!!!!!
especially the stretch between kupu2 & Sri Candy.

Hi good afternoon seniors and bros,

Will be travelling over to Batam via last ferry at 9:35pm tonight. Any advice on whether if there are any massage spa near Harbour Bay ferry terminal that comes with happy ending because upon reaching, it will be quite late and we will be staying at Swissbel hotel (Harbour Bay) so we don't intend to travel far. Will be staying there for 2 nights , any bros happened to be there and wanna cheong together can let me know too...

Try Octopuss Men's Spa, 8th Floor of Pacific Palace hotel,at that kind of hour,i guess thats one of the closest place with massage service available (happy ending as well) and technically,it closes at midnight but try to get there before 11pm (indo time).

Only about 10 mins walk away from Harbour Bay Ferry terminal (from Harbour Bay Mall entrance).

Prices may change (happy hour gone at those hour you reached) so, do talk to the GRO or receptionist before commiting any deal (on pricing,promo,girls etc).

Thanks bro nono for your very helpful piece of info. Just read a post by one of the bro in regards to all the safety issues and so having 2nd thought whether to go or stay put because we are not familiar with the place there too. Thanks for your help bro nono.

I wont wear a Gold chain on my neck (or on any part/s of my body,hehehe...). Most Indonesian Chinese tho rich rarely shows off that they are rich by wearing gold all over themselves,which i heard from most of my Indonesian Chinese friends and friends in Singapore who worked in Indonesia.

Hmm...this one is obvious, NEVER leave my hp or valuable on the dining table when eating in public places. Especially so in most 3rd world countries and even especially so when eating out in the streets.

The snatch thief caught a good opportunity,hehehe...

This one i have nothing much to say but from the look of it, the stolen vehicle has been targeted for some time already and when the time is right, it just fit in to the right timing. Could have happen to anyone who has already been targeted. (most tourist dont drive anyway)

On top of it,its night time in this case.
