the moment i saw tat joker's name, errr.... the officially England Best Referee, M.B.E ("M"anchester utd "B"est "E"mployee) Howard Webb, i knew we're in deep trouble... i think he has given 4 or 5 penalties in recent man utd matches he'd officiated...

playing 11 vs 11 agst man utd in old toilet is tough enough, 11 vs 12 is almost impossible, sensing tat's not enough to make Sir red nose happy, he made it 10 vs 12 with 1 goal handicap...

well done, the Best Doggy in England...

i hope the appointment of King will be the confidence boaster everybody need now...

thou losing gerrard for the next 3 matches is a hugh blow... but hope the rest of the team can stand up and make themselves count....!!!

Ryan Babel used his Twitter account to post a mocked-up picture of Webb wearing a United shirt, after the World Cup official awarded the home side a first-minute penalty and sent off Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard in Sunday's third-round tie at Old Trafford

well done, babel... u've just scored few more point with the fan....

Back to Sunday - and new Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish called Webb's penalty decision a "joke" and also disputed Gerrard's dismissal, but his son Paul, the former Newcastle striker, went even further via his own Twitter account.
He claimed: "Fergie has his puppet Howard Webb on a piece of string."
He also made fun of Webb being given an MBE at the start of the year, adding: "Howard Webb MBE. Manc of the Busby Empire
."

haha... i like it...

On Saturday, defender Glen Johnson, who missed Sunday's game as his wife had gone into labour, launched an attack on TV pundit Paul Merson after he criticised his performances for the Reds.
"Comments from alcoholic drug abusers are not really gonna upset me and who is Paul Merson to judge players, he was average at the best of times," Johnson wrote.
"The only reason he's on that show is coz he gambled all his money away. The clown!"

about time for our players to fight back against some of these idoits who know only how to talk cock on tv shows.... (thou it's not really nice to bring up his drug abuse past...)

Agger strode confidently out from the back, and although Reina was the busier keeper, Liverpool came out of the game with their pride intact.

Above all else, Dalglish knows what Liverpool fans expect to see. When the Reds were 2-0 down at Manchester City earlier in the season, Hodgson didn’t make a change until the 80th minute, and in other games he left his substitutions very late (because he has never really had a Plan B). At Old Trafford, Kenny made two positive substitutions on 60 minutes.

spot on bro!!.. least the mindset of the manager shows.. EVEN w/o time for any training dalglish's team formation is so different from the past 6 mths.. and his subs came on 60mins for the players who did not play well ytd..

so much better than RH who just sat there till 70+ / 80mins before doing a Ngog change...

the ref favoured them in any case and that's not a good sign of things ...

lets hope King kenny can build on an encouraging start and get the whole team to play alot better...

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Actually I am glad we lost. We are so poor in the league that we shouldn't be distracted by the FA cup. Come on, we are only 4 points from a relegation fight. The only bummer is we have got to lose to Man U in the 3rd round. If only the opponent's someone else like Spurs or Sunderland, we wouldn't feel so strongly about losing.

Let see KK (King Kenny) lift us up the league table. He barely had time for a training session before yesterday's match. Attacking football for me any day!

Pls get rid of the dismal Mike Kelly. I saw the despairing look on his face as Blackburn beat us. How can such a person be our first team coach??

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

dream start with a wonderful early goal by Torres who scored fr a tight angle. only to give away a cheap goal minutes later. young defender kelly was quite impressive. surprised Dalglish opted for Javanovic.

under dalglish, team seems to play with better movement and confidence. more build-up play like pool of old.

1-1 at HT. goin to bed liao. wanted to carry on 2H but too tired.

Yes good movement and passing, but no final ball.

Blackpool very fast and dangerous in counterattacks.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Poor end to the game.

Jovanovic and Poulsen were non existent. Can't believe Jov played the whole game giving the ball away.

We played some nice football but final ball was awful. Torres at least scored. Our defence again very fragile and it must be a great concern now we are leaking goals and not scoring enough.

Relegation battle soon.
