after seeing the replay, the 1st goal should not be a corner in the 1st place.. making the lost of 2 pts even harder to swallow.....

it was a strange tale of 2 halves. we could have killed the game off in the 1H but fluffed too many chances. 2 mad goals within 6 mins for Everton, no thanks once again to some dubious decisions by the ref.

give full credit to Toffees for their never say die attitude n coming to Anfield to play football. they never stopped attacking even after takin d lead. credit to Kuyt to score the penalty under immense pressure.

yet anthr encouraging display fr Kelly. this youngster's gonna have a bright future! hope our highly rated Pacheco will have a chance to display his talents soon. leave him too long on the bench, chances r some big fishes may come snapping him away soon!

Blackpool, he lost a header(he didnt even jump) and they took the lead..

Everton, he wasnt even looking at Distin at all!

i hv got nothing against king kenny but seems like recent liverpool managers like to play their players out of position...........

johnson at left back, meireles right or left mid...........and he chose lucas and the little hobbit, jay spearing, in the middle.........i cant imagine he put spearing in instead of joe cole or babel and dalglish even said he played well........... i only see a little schoolboy in midfield kenna bullied by the rights of felliani and arteta.......................and dalglish further compounded matters by bringing in another unproven hobbit in shelvey.........faint..........

really hope we can bring in some decent signings and add more balance to the team.........and hope to see the last of spearing, shelvey........and more of kelly and pacheco..........YNWA

meireles played behind torres last nite with spearing n lucas as holding midfielders. not impressed by spearing, thought kenny will bring on cole for him when we're chasing the game, but instead he put in shelvey for merieles.

our central defense is atonishingly fragile this season, likely due to the switch from zonal under rafa to man-marking under roy. kenny has to arrest this problem of conceding soft goals.

positive from this game: torres is slowly getting back. kelly impressed again. merieles opened his account.

How does this work out? You want to see more of Kelly but don't want to play Johnson out of position... Then Johnson might end up not playing at all. I think our team needs to get back to basics. The problem isn't Spearing. He tries and he runs his heart out. He will get better.

The problem is a lot of our established players forget to do the basic stuff. Srktel's marking for the corner is horrible. It's almost as if he's still adapting to BPL. Our passing is horrible. We should be passing the ball on the ground with the ball reaching the receiver's feet and slightly in front of the player. Our passes are high, bouncing balls that are hard to control. Aiyoh...

I thought Shelvey's exciting when he came on. He tries and he almost succeeded in setting up Torres. Better than whenever Babel comes on.

We are slowly improving under KD.
