Re: Vietnam - HCM
Yesterday I made my way to massage parlour at Liberty 2, beside Polo Club. The receptionist said 120,000 VND for 1 hr massage, excluding tips she emphasized twice!!! Inside the locker area, I discovered that I was the only customer there. I remembered that when I went there 1 year ago, the place was packed with foreigners and locals.
I took a quick shower and went into the hot pool. But the water temperature is only luke-warm. I was quickly ushered to the massage room on the upper floor. The mamasan introduced a plain-looking girl to me. She was definitely not syt, but I hope that she can provide better, more experieneced service. She started her massage and didn't make small talk, like ask where I'm from. I also couldn't be bothered and we did not speak a word throughout the 1 hr massage. When she massage my legs, she carefully avoided my sensitive inner thighs and I let out a sigh. When she ask me to turn over, I pretended that I was glad that the massage was over and wanted to put on my robe. She indicated that the massage was only half-way through and she had to massage my front also. She again did not reach under my shorts for my balls, and my didi was very, very limp. At the end of the massage, she did not ask me for specials, as I think she knew that I would say no. She passed me the tip slip, and I wrote 50,000 VND(S$5). When I came down to shower again, I saw a lady customer walking around with her robe!! The 2 male attendants did not attend to me, and I returned the flavour by not giving them any tip. I passed the 50,000 VND to the receptionist who gave me a "oh-you-are-so-stingy" kind of look. But I ignored her as I swear I will never enter this massage parlour at Liberty 2 again!!! |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
On my Tigerair flight last Friday, I met an old Singaporean couple on their way to HCM city. Yesterday I met them again at Le Thanh Ton St. And the first thing they ask me is "Do you know where we can eat Singapore-style Chinese hor-fun"? I was left flabbergasted, but politely pointed to the night-market beside Ben Thanh market. I also ask them to try "Pho 2000" or "Pho 24" instead.
Oh by the way, there's a nice food-court above Parkson's. They sell nice pizza, donuts, Thai, Korean, Jap, Viet food at reasonable price. They taste like what they will taste like exactly in Singapore. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
Today as I was walking along Le Loi Street, a lady in a scooter drove onto the pavement and rode beside me. She had very heavy make-up and she looked very pale. She said she can follow me back to my hotel and give me massage for USD 10 and make-love for USD 20. I suddenly remembered that some seniors wrote in this forum that these ladies could be "men", or were "men before", or they could steal from us. So I ignored her and continued to walk. She kept pestering me for at least 5 mins before she gave up. The hawkers along Le Loi Street simply smiled and grinned at me. Heeheehee, I was so embarrassed.....

Re: Vietnam - HCM
Some seniors in this forum suggested that A&EM 4 and Lien An hotels are girl-friendly, so I decided to check them out.
On my arrival, my bx came to pick me up from the airport. I thought we were taking a cab, but instead she ask to take her scooter instead!! So we were whizzing down towards District 1 with my luggage in between the 2 of us!! The funny thing was that I knew the way in HCM city better than my bx, as she came from Dong Thap province. On the scooter, I could smell her hair and I grabbed her lightly on the shoulders. I checked into A&EM 4 at 150 Le Thanh Ton St facing Ben Thanh market. The standard room rate is USD 30. I was given a room on the top 7th floor with a nice small window over-looking the street beside the market. The room was bigger than standard Hotel 81 room, and it even had a small fridge. But the walls were very thin, and you hear foot-steps along the corridor and even noise from the next room. The room had tv with international channels, and I was able to watch English Premiership on ESPN and the Singtel Singapore F1 racing!! For USD 30, me and my bx had free breakfast of pho-bo and ban mi opla(bread with fried egg). They even had free internet at the lobby, but it was often occupied by the bell-boys!! The receptionist was pleasant-looking and she spoke very good Mandarin. On my return from Dalat city, the receptionist even ask me where was my bx, who had returned to her province. However, this time I was given a standard room without window. On the next morning, there was a black-out and they had to turn on the generator, which was generating a lot of noise and heat from the basement. So I made a short walk to Le Anh Xuan St to Lien An hotel, where I'm typing this forum now. I was greeted by the Manager Mr Khoi, who spoke excellent Mandarin. Mr Khoi explained that the rate is USD 32 for standard room and USD 60 plus for Deluxe. Mr Khoi even brought me to the 7th floor and showed me the standard and deluxe rooms!!! The standard room was similar to A&EM 4 hotel, but it had a bath-tub and very nice Samsung tv with international channels as well!! I shyly ask Mr Khoi about bringing girls into the room and he said "Mei Wen Ti"(NO PROBLEM). When using free internet at the lobby, the bell-boy even poured me a glass of ice tea and it was mien-phi(free)!! EXCELLENT!!!!!!! |
