Have got a look at some more of the spots that were on that list that was posted here (in Vietnamese).... so just to update and also sum up previous findings:

Lexy on Cao Thang looks like it's being renovated or torn down

Vertu in Phu Nhuan seems ok, typical Vietnamese night club, small, dancing onstage

141 in Phu Nhuan is similar but bigger, cuter staff.

Beegees Trang (PN) is to be avoided

Dong Kinh in D5 is actually Tokyo, which is well known to members here, I believe. Perhaps someone else can update on what its status is, what kind of venue now (is it just karaoke? seemed to be when I went there a few yrs back)

Hai Van in D1 is the well known place just off the Ben Thanh traffic circle, the narrow street running parallel to Le Loi -- didn't venture inside but as far as I know, the disco there is shut now, has been for awhile. Think it's just a massage at this point in time.

Noblesse is in D1 upstairs at the Metropole Hotel (Tran Hung Dao) but is being renovated. Only the massage is open now. Funny how in Vietnam you get all these massage-slash-discos. Guess you can dance the night away, and then go have a massage afterwards to take the kinks out.

Metallica off Ng Thi Minh Khai also being renovated

(most of above previously mentioned, and the rest I can't tremember -- too lazy to search my old posts!)

The new additions to the list:

"Now" is a night club out off CMT8 street, a little ways past Lan Anh. If you reach the park, it is on the side street just before that park. Strange place. Not huge, but it has all these levels going up and down, so it's like being inside an M.C. Escher drawing. Otherwise it's your typical night club. This whole area is just packed with cafes and bars. I'd never heard of this area before but it's something to be seen. A very for-locals area, and just so alive with energy.

Las Vegas in Tan Binh district, actually quite a ways out west. Someone told me it's a shithole -- but I guess they refurbished it because it looked pretty glitzy. Decent staff -- tho nothing I'd feel compelled to be going that far out of my way for. It's located in the Tan Binh 2 Hotel, had to ask locals to help me find it. This is the kind of place though where your being a foreigner would surely be a big plus, don't think we're seen often in one like this. I'm a below average looking 40ish Ang Moh, and was getting interested stares from the staff just as I walked in. This of course is the main attraction of these way-out places: low hanging fruit waiting to be picked.

The other ones I'm still curious about are even further out:

J-Club in Tan Phu
Nemo and 2000 in D6
Paradise 2 in D7
007 in Go Vap
De Nhat in Tan Binh

Just to share..... so far since I here in HCMC, when fellow bros chiong together, we always split the bill equally amongst ourselves...BUT I'VE ENCOUNTER SOME PEOPLE THAT I JUST KNOW AND CHIONG FIRST TIME TOGETHER WHEN COMES TO BILLING GIVES ALL THE CRAP, COCK AND BULL STORY THAT.......and the story goes on... Ever since I'm here in HCMC...had real fun mixing with fellow Samsters. Also had good fun with Vietnamese girls. One thing for sure, didn't regret accepting the posting here...but now have tricky situation.... have someone who is really glued to me and I felt good with her. In addition I have someone I think I can consisder to be with but she is abit more cautious in relationship... This first one I already bonked her uncountable times, the second one is in the cultivation phase.... The 2nd one is shifting in with me soon but the first one have the tendency to look me up after her work for bonking session...So now thinking how to resolve this crisis....

Pick up rate is a little tougher here though. Pinkerton syndrome is very much alive here in Saigon i realized!

Went supper last night or should I say early early this morning with a fellow Bro with six Gals and my Gal..so only 2 guys and 7 gals.....One of the 6 Gals very aggressive... even though my gal sitting beside me... she keep on zapping me with her eyes...I think my gal felt it and can feel she abit not happy...so she gave excuse she need to go back to the joint to help her boss close up.. So after supper reached hotel...time about 3.30am...abit bored so call the MXXN Bar Bartender I known the night before..but didn't bring ID so cannot go up to my room and when sending her home she suggested staying in her house but didn't want to take the risk...Invited her to come over to my hotel... she agreed again... Ok good not eating Vegetables after all.. she came at 4.30am.. gave her ID to the counter and brought her up to my room... can see she damm horny... when enter room... we started and we bonked for 2 times.... Oh my god... she sure damm moist and warm down below...and the sound of her water when my cannon intrude into her valley in and out damm arousing... she left early this morning..... will be leaving HCMC for 2 weeks so will miss the action.. Now going to wash hair, do facial and dig ear before I go airport.....Must meet my GL PRC FL when I arrived.....She going back Liaoning on 3/11/08 so still can have a bonkee in Sillypore....Will provide more FR next time round..

Go for the white chicks! There quite a few thais and koreans in the crowd too last evening...

For the Viets, you got to go a bit earlier and pick up the ones that speak proper english in girl groups. They are usually educated overseas and will hold a decent conversation.

Next one you should consider going is Halloween and in DoSe on 22nd Nov. Dressing up at Halloween gives you a good excuse to take the conversation beyond the normal fare....
