May do a naughty weekend phuket (start low season?). Last sortie was Dec 2008, with 2 nights Patong town + 1 finale Patong. Town was refeshingly different, and interesting daytime jalan2 see old tin mine chinese houses. Stayed at Chinois on town and C&N patong (5 mins hop across Bangla) last time

Can I ask anybody familiar with Sea Patong hotel, if it's gal friendly? Did some reasearch on looong pkt hotel list via agoda, and shortlisted this newish and boutique style hotel -nice rooms pics, and within walking stretch to Bangla. Or does this matter if I book double?

The addr i got from the website is "5/56 Haad Patong RD., Patong Beach Kathu District" dunno where it is, maybe HKT boy can enlighten.

For the price of B2400/nite, u can prolly try Yorkshire Inn or Summerbreeze. That is if you like to stay near Bangla Rd......

Sea Patong doesn't look too shabby (C&N was), from pics and reviews. Rack rates but I can get this bt1600 from booking.com or agoda at bt1685

Summerbreeze is I recall, houses restaurant below (which I patronised) smack in hotspot area. May seems super low with rates from 1k. And good rates for Yorkshire Inn deluxe from bt1500 upwards (both direct websites not resellers)

Great stuff. Expat Hotel looks good, and near Bangla stretch. This came a mite late for me, as I'm at Palm View Resort at Nanai area (10-15mins walk to action). Oh well, balcony and some peace and quiet

Had shortlisted other hotels like Salathai, Sea Patong (diff league circa 1500-1600). But I asked about joiner and they replied yes 500-1000bht (so there you go). Also looked at Summer Breeze and Yorkshire, but Tripadvisor reviews were not too pleasing and they seem to be in chaotic area. Was recommended to try new Atlas circa bht900.
