best display of all the pre-season games, the players finally looked fit n ready for the season...
players impressed me: downing, adam, carroll, agger, aurelio (he's our best LB by miles WHEN he is fit)...
and we still have suarez, gerrard, merieles, lucas to be back in action...
wonder wat will be dalglish 1st 11 when everybody is fit, esp. in the midfield?!

Liverpool today agreed a fee with Hull City for the transfer of Daniel Ayala.
The Championship club have now been given permission to discuss personal terms with the defender.

Actually, why not keep this thread solely for Liverpool? If we thrash other teams here, we are going to invite more 'pirambis' to come here and post nonsense.

I saw Caroll's first goal on TV on channelnewsasia. Wow. Nothing fantastic about his strike but his determination to get to the rebound is definitely worth noting. I like a hungry Carroll.

Raheem Sterling is definitely a star in the making if groom correctly.
He was born on 8 December 1994(17 yrs old this year) in Kingston, Jamaica.
Sterling was @ QPR for 7 years as a youth player, & was signed by Liverpool in February 2010 for an initial fee of £600,000.
This amount could rise to £5 million depending on how many appearances he makes 4 the 1st-team.

Sterling has represented England @ Under-16 & Under-17 level.
He was also eligible 2 play 4 Jamaica, his country of birth, & his mother Nadine has stated tat she would like 2 see him play 4 Jamaica @ international level.

Sterling was selected in the England squad 4 the 2011 FIFA U-17 WC.
He scored a long-range goal in England's opening 2–0 win against Rwanda in Pachuca. He also scored against Argentina in the 2nd round in a game where England won 4–2 on penalties.

He mainly plays as a winger.

with the signing of enrique, i think we're more or less done in buying... the problem now is to sell...

looking forward reports of deals agreed for sale of some surplus:
gk: b jones;
defenders: insua (with signing of enrique, i think he's definitely off), deggen (wtf he's still around?), , sotos;
midifelders: aquaman (don't think he wants to stay, we still have merieles for his position), j cole (he never impressed even during pre-season, think it's best to offload him), poulsen, elzhar;
forwards: ngog (then we'll need a back up for striker)..."

and maybe loan deals for wilson, robinson, wisdom, suso, pacheco, coady, morgan, sterling and other young players, it's better to get some real action than playing in the reserve lge...
we don't seem to have good relationship with any of the lower division club which we can send our young players for loan and know tat they're in good hand and got to play 1st team football, rather than sitting on their bench...

anybody know if paul dalglish is into club management??
