I nearly fall in love with WL. In the end, back out of the relationship. Reason is because my family object and say that it is okay to find WL once in a while but marrying her will be a disgrace. So end the relationship. Shortly, I found out that she also has a few other relationship going on and I was only one of the sponsor. Feel very cheated but life goes on.

My situation different I never meet a good sg gal before.

No 1 sg gf- on my 21st birthday I found that she had sex with her ex-bf
before calling me.

No 2 sg gf- She is 26 yrs old with a diploma healthy body but she refused to work living on her mother & elder brother.

No 3 sg gf- She is 27 yrs old divorcee with one kid got diploma also refused to work living just a mere $350 maintenance from her ex-husband plus getting monthly allowance from her elder sister. The worst part is she said she love me but later confessed to me that she still need to have sex with a 41 yrs old technician because that make her feel love.

This is only 3 examples of my longer term ex-gf, still exclude some of friends sad encounter with sg gals.

So I decide to seek a foreign wife.

Thanks for all the thoughtful replies. Seems that the general consensus out there is that the fees are considered cheap or below market rate. I have thought and thought on the night prior to passing her the money. The money is not a big sum but neither is it insignificant. In the end, I gave in to my heart and pass it to her without asking too much. I do not want her to feel like I m interrogating her to give her the money.

I m not too sure why too but I knew that I have been softhearted and acted a bit irrationally in this aspect. Its both a boon and a bane that I m soft-hearted by nature but I guess your character is something you can't do much about.

If the money can help her to start a new life, then so be it. Even if she has chosen to cheat me, I am willing to pass her the money knowingly; that she will be able to work in Sg and have a better life here. But that will be the one and only time that she will find my help. I am trying to be as rational as I can despite my positive feelings for her.

As for having her as a gf, she never agreed to be my gf and I have never popped the question. And I will be disappointed if she agreed to cosying up with me just because I lent her the help. In fact, I do not want to commit to her now even if she wanted to as I m still not confident of the future of a intercountry relationship. They says absence does make the heart fonder, in my case, yes, I miss her even more when she is away but how she thinks of me when she is away, I may never know.

She doesn't have the typical PRC look, looks very girlish looking and has most of the physical traits of someone that I m looking for in a gf. But the funny thing is it wasn't love at first sight and her looks didn't really catch my attention intially. It was only during the initial meeting's conversation that her empathy and relative outspokeness draws me to her. She is girlish but yet has the steely determination of someone who has been around. Its almost like the imaginary girl that I have been searching for all my life has appeared.

I know that I have been very naive but I really cannot stop myself from liking her. And frankly even if I have never like a WL, I have never been one to think that a woman is bad just because she is a WL. She may have been a WL for many many reasons. Perhaps that is why I am more receptive and tolerant of WLs. Anyway, naive and softhearted I may be, I am still sceptical about an intercountry relationship and I will try my best to be as level headed as possible. For the time being, I will just try to help her start afresh in Sg assuming that she really meant what she said.

So what if he is selling his wife? Both are willing party and as long as they are happy with the arrangment, it is just a job. People has to make a living. People marrying a WL already accepted she slept with many men if not how to face her everyday?
