I feel that what Carrot commented is very thru. Although 900 pages looks like a big number but if you scroll thru each page, would not take you more than 1 min/page and you also do not need to look thru all the pages! When I first wanted to swing into HCMC, the thread was 455 pages.. i read every page! And that was just 1 year ago.
Of course HCMC Thread is very active and hv lot of "swan-ing" going on..but there are also other options such as PM a senior and offer to "buy" him a beer, and find out more and proceed to next destination.
All the "Hey, tell me where to go and what to do lei, ok?" kinda-of message, who the hell owes you a living!???
Absolutely sir, when i started to read this thread in end of 2004, it was like 200+ pages. i read every pages every night before i travel to hcmc during Tet 2005..i also PM seniors for help, so doing homework is really important.
Do some home works, you will find many information in the thread

Phew, finally I found an english forum that has what I want. I will be in HCM for 1 day 1 night and would love to check out a girl. Since I wont have much time I would very much appreciate if some one can give me a hint of where to get relatively high class girls?

I spent about 1week going through the whole thread before I actually PMed a guy from this forum and because I took the effort to check first before asking, He was more than willing to pass info to me and even invited me out to dinner. I can truthfully say that is a the Older Brother I never had.

I will be the first to admit that I am guilty of alot of "Suaning". Because it can be really really frustrating and tiring having to retype everything again and again and again and again. Having said that, Sometimes if a person PM's me, I also will not reply. Have to be a bit careful.

There are some who will give out info in a heartbeat without realising the consequences. I have seen places turned into shitholes because details are given out openly. I am all for sharing, but there are those out there who just dont know how to behave. It is frustrating to see Carrot007 so frustrated. It is frustrating to PCC in the Hotel. It is Frustrating to see Chairman keep repeating your information over and over again. It is frustrating that nobody bring me go airport or new place. It is frustrating that some brothers go HCMC quietly and dont even have time to "SWAY TAO" together. Me too.. went on my 1st trip in March this year and read up over 400-500 pages, did my own research and met up with some samsters who were not willing to meet up initally.. and had hell of a time and the rest were history..
reminder to all newbies, the helpful seniors here are willing to provide help provided you show them your sincerity not by jusking the usual questions that will provoke 'suaning'.. by the way, I am still a newbie now , nothing compared to the true masters of HCM..
