Cafe Central at SUNWAH Tower. Use to go there and read. It tends to be 1 day old. Not sure if they still have it as it has been a long time since I went back there.

Duxton hotel only has a SPA. The casino in there was shut down 2 months back. Duxton is not girl friendly. However I can predict your next question. "Is there any happening near by Duxton"

Yes there is. The girlie bars on Hai Ba Trung street is located 2 parallel streets away from your hotel. 35, 49, 51, 95 Hai Ba Trung St.

there is a disco called Club 27. 27 Ngo Duc Ke D1. Located less than 1 min from Duxton. Opens till 3am (I think).

Further up from Club 27 at the Opposite end is Club Royale. Ktv / Bar / Casino.

a) get fit/healthy (regain fitness)
b) cannot pub-drinking

Java Cafe at HBT near the famous pick up bars, Saigonstar Hotel at NTMK are 2 places I know.
