My experience with HCM is 5 years, the first 3 years was with a gf who eventually married a Korean, mainly because I cant marry her as I already have a family. u heard right. the big name hotels r definitely not going to let ur girl stay overnite unless u got a marriage cert and they r downright strict on this because its vn law.

girl friendly hotels can be found and u should follow the vn thread ...

Try airbnb or smaller boutique hotels. I had no problems with girls staying over. My FB is viet and she usually stays with me when we are both in HCMC. Ive also had working girls over.

Some hotels may also impose a guest curfew. So check with the hotel.

I can confirm the guest curfew....I stayed in a 5* hotel near bui vien street and walked into the hotel with a friend and was told she needed to check in. The security also monitored the lifts and corridor to make sure I do not take her to my room.

Not really; I had stay in 5stars hotel with my gf. You must check in with her together on the 1st day. If she check in later; you better provide her name 1st. If you intend to find outside n check in later; it will be difficult

3Went for a short trip to HCM over the long weekend.

Found Cherry spa and Tokyo spa at the Little Tokyo area. I passed by lots of spas and kenna accosted at all of them. Kind of hard to check in with the girl when you dont know who you will pick up later.

Just try to look for airbnb. The owner will list clearly if it is guest friendly. The 3 star or lower hotels at bui vien usually dont bother. Ive had no problems having girls up.
