Roger tat. As for myself, now till mid Mar, my travelling schedule kinda erratic. Yesterday flew from HCMC to Manila, tonight flying back to HCMC ... then Wednesday flying out from HCMC for 4 - 5 days. Will try to match with ur schedule. Will also intro u to other resident samsters, who are great hosts.

There is New Cafe going to open on 5th March called "The Gate" at Pasteur after Dien Bien Phu.

Renovation look very nice and it could be the next "In-Place".

My apologies if OT abit...... have a lot of free time coming up coz my company going to close shop..... would like to spend some relaxing time in Vietnam but never cheong there....... so should I go HCM or Hanoi ?

Try Dalat, Dong Nai for Highlands kind of relaxing;

Try Nha Trang, Vung Tau or Dang Nang for Beach Resort.

To all tai kors in HCM,

thank you for your posts. it is most enlightening when comes to where to go, where to stay and where to have good time.

After reading forum, I went to Le Duyen 4. Had a good massage by gal Le Quyen. Good massage, strong but no hanky panky probably bcos i cant speak Vietnamese and her english extremely limited.

However went i ask for the bill it came to be VND210k. I had hairwash, massage, facial mask and acne something. Is the price right , i felt ripped as i read earlier massage and hairwash was only VND90k.

Can any taikor tell me whether it is so. becos i definitely blacklist them if they do so.

After that, i went to a bar, nearby. 008 I think. Not much there, some loud music and some gals standing at the tables. Are these the FL that tai kor talk about. Anyway they were average looking so after 1 drink, i went back

All 2 to 3 stars hotels should be gal frenly...can always ask the Vn gal to speak to the receptionist before paying...not familiar with Go Vap district...

Dong Nai for "Highlands kind of relaxing"?! You gotta be kidding me.

Vung Tau for Beach Resort? Sure, if you consider swimming in oil slick from the oil rigs and in sewerage originating from HCMC to be your idea of a good time.

You got ripped on the bill. It should've come to about VND 160.000 excluding tip to the girl, of course. No need to blacklist them, they just assessed you right. Did you bother asking for a breakdown on the bill or just simply happily paid the amount they asked? Hairwash + facial should be 1 item (40.000), body massage + the.smelly.white.stuff.they.put.on.your.nose should be 1 item plus a 'add-on' (total 80.000-120.000).

Well they showed me something like a menu with price after i asked for the bill breakdown. Already upset so cant remember much- something about massage 100k .... You are right, i must have look liked a soi yee to them
