Jetstar already stopped their Wetnami routes during Covid & thats why CB See-lang Coot now very stiff with their HCM tickets pricing since not much competition now

This laughing gas fad will really do a lot of damage to those wetnami youngsters in the long run, same as the vape as the local authorities turn a total blind eye to them & there are practically no restrictions at all... most of the SYTs are vaping like nobody business since it smells so good & the packaging looks so cutie-pie somemore so it doesnt looks dangerous

After I read your comments...I checked with friends and they said these Indians and Muslims are from India , Malaysia and Indonesia...and they dun spend alot in shops...they just go soght seeing and at CBT more like walk past..these ppl stayed around 3 to 5 days...

Yes at the immigration long queues becos very slow...also usually morning peak hours..afternoon not so bad...

I dun encourage anyone commit crime...be safe and stay safe...

Since 2008, my friends and I had never bribed anyone...once you give money then they may arrest you and ask for more...do you give or dun give by then...I had stopped traveling after covid-19...but my friends still traveling due to commitments...

My friends told me hcm had lost its night life entertainment due to high costs...not worth to visit over a weekend buying tickets for 3D2N...used to be S$500 - S$1k enough including air tickets but not anymore...

The short answer is yes it is an "unofficial" channel (aka bribery) & one of the custom guy actually go around soliciting such "express fees" especially when he sees a big group of men whom are complaining loudly about the long queues & are "desperate" to clear the queues

So pls try not to encourage them if you can as the more people patronise them the greedier they will get in future

I think many didn't read your past rant about the immigration officers taking their slowness and their cblj face...:0

I knew you will never bother to bribe them after traveling almost 20 years...

When Vietnam reopen after covid-19 on 15 March 2022, my friends flew in and there were ghost in the immigrationat TSN...not all lanes opened but no patrons...

Within 3 months after reopening, Vietnam faced long difficult times with no many international arrivals...sure the tourists will returned and the same pattern will reappeared..

If it is “bribe “ then I not going to do it . Rather go early and queue . dont want later want go back sg become delay due to they make thing difficult for me . Ha

The recent trip arrival and departure a lot of people.. hopefully it because of the Xmas season .

Although it get expensive then last time but I think still consider cheaper then go drink in sg . But factor in the ticket and hotel fee , think not much different.

The only difference maybe feel more free and relax because you are going for holiday.
