I totally agree no point talking to wife cos only worsen the situation. It a very common scenario in most sporean households especially with sporean women. Maybe the younger gen girls diff and they more open and enjoy sex but definitely the female millennials and above are generally quite sexless.

I believe if the husband and wife have a loving relationship, communication will certainly help. More so if you have common religious belief. Once married, your body is not your own. You have a responsiblity towards each other.

Some causes of low sex drive and lack of intimacy can be overcome. I know of several couples who have regular sex into their late 50s and early 60s. The desire may diminish when menopause set in. Sensual touches can still trigger desire. It helps, if the couples were former sports persons or exercise regularly.

Many divorces happened around the time wives get menopause ans hubbies don't understand why no sex from wives.

They got frustrated and thought they no longer love each other.

It's a hormonal issue arising from menopause that's something we can't do about it.

I learn the meaning of "give and take" saying from old generation. It's really learning to give in and understanding the other party's issue.

Women usually lost interest with their own husband due to family and work stresses. If u are her punching bag, good luck trying to fuck her. Women need buildup to sex meaning relationship must be good before sex can happen, i.e. romantic, gifts etc, work her mind and emotion before sex. My wife has a healthy sexual appetite before our first kid. Once give birth to first kid sex drive goes down by 99%. We still have sex but it is 100% initiated by me and frequency goes down a whole lot. And she no longer feels aroused in nipps, vagina etc. I am sole breadwinner and we have a nanny and maid, so its not like she is 100% busy the whole day. Very sianz and been going to ML a lot.

My case is totally opposite.

Me & wifey (non-sg Asian) are in early 50s, wif a child. Xiao3 is German, in mid 40s, also wif a child. Xiao4 is early 30s Swedish, no child yet.

But they all still hungry for sex, that I need to control & manage, to about 2 nights a week... BBBJ, they all happily & willingly, as long as they think / feel I like / enjoy it.

Whenever they want sex but I sorta too tired, they complain. Only reason (excuse) I can give is, I'm in early 50s, maybe really getting old...and then xiao3 German, now calling / addressing me "old man".
