Just take all these stories with a huge pinch of salt. Unless that ML is an ang pai, if not hard for them to beat the 10 k sgd. they will definitely take up the offer willingly if there is any. Most of the time, the offer came from those old uncles who default on payment and made a lot of empty promises. Only meant to cheat those new MLs for free bonks in anticipation of the payout. Of course they get none at the end.

The 10k wont last for long as they age. Some of them above 25 already find them hagged and old.
I believe many old uncles also got cheated also of their hard earn monies la just never say only. Watever we read and laugh at the uncle scam from newspaper, it requires us to reach the age before we realise actually its real and commonm.

It is very real, they will try their best to milk you as long as you still have money. Unless you tell them upfront, you won’t lend them any money. Even so, they will still milk you by asking you to buy this buy that. Haha…. Anyway, if you enjoy their company and willing to invest, it is a win win coz they get money, you get honey. Sometimes hard for you not to have any feeling also, especially if you keep making love or going out with them and they come with very pretty face. Just take it as renting a gf and you won’t be hurt as much.

A lot of times I do hope I can think logically and know that the girl is here to earn money. But it is hard when you can vibe well with the girl and loneliness creeps in. I imagine a lot of times we visit ML not just to satisfy physical needs, but sometimes also for emotional needs.

It becomes really painful when the ML leaves and lose contact just like that. You can tell the "vibe" isn't genuine at that moment. All the sweet talk and cute gesture. At one end it's the financial damage, the more painful part is the emotional damage, all these times and it's a lie? At first will feel sadness and anger. As time goes by I feel like a complete idiot and feel sorry for myself how I can be so stupid. The pain of betrayal cuts deep. The worst part is I never learned as I think I can somehow find a place with someone at some time.

We dated sometimes but not frequent because we were both busy. But we did daily conversation going even I did not visit her

I had my fair share of such experience with the ML that I am close to. Get to know her last year and start my chase. We did not date as she is busy. After 3 months, she went back as not happy with the shop. We stay in contact for 1 month then she MIA. Early this year (6 month after she go back) she came back, contacted me and this is when our 'complicated relation' started and continued till now which is 5 months already.

So for the MIA part, she blamed me for going MIA instead of her
