There really is a serious problem here between you and your gf. Like Bro sun said, accepting a spouse's past requires great conviction and forgiveness. That's the past!!! But we are taliking about the present circumstances.

Man, you are dealing with someone you profess to truly love and yet she's wants to continue doing FL. Like many bros before me this relationship is certainly one way. If a couple is deeply in Love they will surely not do anything to hurt the other party. Well I guess she is hurting you and by what she is doing do you think she loves you??? Question yourself. If I were in your shoes, I will for sure leave her. In the start you will feel sad and down but after sometime you will be fine. If you prolong this it is going to be a torture to you. I find it difficult to understand why she does not want to stop since she is not really in dire financial straits and yet she claims to love you.

I've gfs who were fl then left the scene because of "love" for me. Most will bill out on money matters (great litmus test for playing with FLs).

The most serious one had the relationship going for YEARS, she's still dependent on me for livelihood with no sign of her wanting to do FL again... but logic tells me she has no way to survive without income if I ever break off with her. FL usually have no skills, lazy to work, etc.

During one of the heated quarrels, the hero me made her vowed she'll never do FL ever again in her life-time, even if I'm no longer with her in future. In fact, all hell will break loose whenever I mention her past now.

As in all wannabe saviors, If our ex-FL gf go back working as FL, we'll feel like a damn big failure, as we're supposed to be that prince in shinning armor on horse back who saved her from her life misery - LoL...in my case only to land her in another misery waiting indefinitely for me... or else.

So now I L-L have to keep her around, knowing that if I dump her, she "may" end up back in the trade or suffer the consequence of that very poison vow/swear. (She's very religious)

To answer TS question; What can I do? Make sure she don't have an excuse to do FL again; perhaps by ensuring that I can continue to keep such expenses very affordable and hope that one day she'll grow out of it or find another prince to save her (from me).

My guess is:
1) She's lazy.
2) She's a sex-addict.
