send flowers to Pub singers

heard there is rule to send flowers to the singers in some pubs or KTVs, also heard there is a damn high rank Pub where the cost of the flowers can be as high as 10,000 bucks, have any bros heard of it?

well,i've been to some pubs where the minimum is 25 per stalk up to 1k per sash.i believe u are talking bout those lounge in hotels rite?its norm,but 10k,well up to now i've nvr seen a 10k singer before.only 3k.

a little infor for u...abt 2-3 years back, a local or malaysian singer in one of de ktv lounge in sg...her birthday that night, she sung 3 intervals and collected a total of almost 50k flower tips from a few customers. If singer take 60-70% of de amount...u will knows de figure liao... a true case cos it was advertised on Wan Bao paper next day..... 10k was just a secondary issue...

I ve seen a man spending abt 35K a night......in Dynasty Classic.

At Topps Lounge..........there was once a man spending abt 8K-15K a nightand he was there for at least 5 nights per week......last heard from the singers......dissappeared!

I can only guess that any person - no matter how rich - ought to have his head examined if he sends anyhing more than $1k in flowers to some lounge girl! I guess the guys doing such acts probably earn "easy money".

Places like 181 Music Lounge, 50's, etc.......u see many of these type of ppl...........some in JB oso same.

Seen a case in JB......a tour bus driver sending 999 roses a night to the gal he liked.........and the worst part......gal cannot make it!.....hahaha.....siao!

Well, money belongs 2 them how they spend we got no say about it. In this world there r every n any kind of people who can die for a girl they like which I think is not worth it.

To spend that kind of money, I might as well put it to bet for my Liverpool. At least there is a chance of getting more money back. Heeeeee!

My advice is spend your hard earn money wisely, b it cheonging or doing other things. Cheers guys!

true that there are such gugu ppl with ego problem as i heard from mummy at dy classic that there are ppl who throws tens of thousands of dollards on flower to their singer until mummy oso trying to learn singing hoping to be a singer one day.

The motif is very clear. Those pig heads is after something. But sometime all this send/hang flowers are pre-arranged by the Pub operators!

Totally agree........why would u blow so much money on a gal?
25k can do alot, dunno how many mths of instalments for a new car
If I have that kinda money to blow I rather give it to the gal and tell her what I want, point blank!

As for the pre-arranged thing, I am sure it exists but there are also remote flower hanging - give the gal and ask her to do it under ur name or if u are a regular, hang and pay later

the hang flower pubs and KTV was started for a way for the
"underground people" to clean up their money.
so traditionaly the people will go hang flower on the singer
the like or fancy (usually their girlfriends) and then the money
goes back to the ktv or pub. and in turn become CLEAN MONEY.
plus the singer gets a share, which is also clean money.

but nowadays its for the upclass TKB to earn a living and
for old men to spend their pension money.

most of the pig head would have been fished up by the TKB
and since a typical singer can stay up to 1 year and they
can return yearly after a short break back home. its a long
term investment (if you have the cash for it).

Most of the hang flower people (youngster and execs)
use their companys entertainment fund anyway. and if
the singer is their girl friend. i guess its a way for them
to get extra pocket money.

one example i know this jap manager, he has a girlfriend singer
in one KTV (not going to name names). every month he has
about S$10K of entertainemnt budget from his company.
if he spends it somewhere there will be no kick back.
so he hangs flower for his girlfriend singer. and when the
girlfriend gets the money 60% of the amount he shares
it with her. (if he uses all 10K on the girlfriend.. 60% of 10K is
still extra 6K a month)

so its up to your imagination on how someone will want to hang flower.

i used to think they are all pig head (some are) but after i got
to know abit about the workings of hanging flower... its pretty
complicated stuff.

anyway a typical singer in places like tian An Men and Las Vegas
will get an average of S$10K-S$15K flower money per month.
and on special nites like some other bros have pointed out.
they can net about S$50K of flowers these are possible.
there are some people out there with alot of money they
cannot spend in daylight.
