Another Singaporean fuckwit taken to the cleaners

A 56-year-old Singaporean man has been duped of $13,000 by a prostitute.

The 43-year-old prostitute, who is a Chinese national, had asked to marry the man, who gave his name only as Mr Ho, just two days after he paid for her services.

Mr Ho agreed and subsequently spent $13,000 on his future wife, only to find her missing before they could register their marriage, reported Shin Min Daily.

Mr Ho, who works as a security officer, was introduced to the woman on August 26 by his friends.

He had only intended to engage her services once, but after they had sex, the woman told him that she wanted to marry a local man like how her cousin did.

She called him repeatedly a few days later to propose marriage.

She told him that she thought he was a good man, and had a compatible zodiac sign to hers, saying that fate had brought them together.

Mr Ho initially wanted to date the woman and get to know her better, but on August 31, he fixed an appointment to be married on November 23.

After the date had been fixed, the woman immediately asked Mr Ho for $5,000, claiming that she wanted to give $2,000 to her parents and the rest to her 13-year-old daughter who is living and studying in China.

She visited China in September and upon her return to Singapore in October, she asked for $4,000, and spent an additional $3,000 shopping for jewellery, including a wedding ring.

Mr Ho spent a total of $13,000 on the woman.

She became uncontactable on November 15. After trying and failing to contact her for three days, Mr Ho realised he had been cheated and made a police report.

Mr Ho, who has never been married before, said the woman gained his trust by calling him every day to check on him, and also by addressing him as her husband.

He also observed that she liked children, and was kind towards elderly people who needed help. This led him to believe that she was of good character.

Mr Ho also revealed that he did not have enough savings of his own, and had to borrow $6,000 from friends and family to give her.

His friends and family are aware of his plight and have not demanded reimbursement.

Shin Min Daily was unable to contact the woman for comments.

Boss, this case again highlights your basic rule applies in such transactions - F & F. However, such case also happens for non-transaction types. Some girls are just too good actresses; just that they fail to qualify for roles in hollywood. .
