Just noticed that most story writers here have the same modus operadi......

Heading: Some sex encounter with Neighbour, Friend Sister, Friend, Fling etc etc at House, Chalet, Car, School etc etc etc

Writer will type about 15 to 16 lines and then say he need to go somewhere and will continute. Excuse is also very much similar.... that CO is with him etc etc and the story is left to hang.....

of course mah. free story telling, what more you want? Him to seat there for days writing a story for you to PCC? Even authors get paid. These people here write story for us to PCC for free, I think even if they is to stop the story half way, we shouldnt complain.

Here's a prime example of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" offered by an English professor from the University of Phoenix:

The professor told his class one day: "Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story. You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me. The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth.

Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached."

THE STORY:

At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The

chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.

Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. "A.S. Harris to Geostation 17," he said into his transgalactic communicator. "Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far..." But before he could sign off a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship's cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.

He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. "Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel," Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspaper to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. "Why must one lose one's innocence to become a woman?" she pondered wistfully.

The dimwitted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace disarmament Treaty through the congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu'udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid Laurie.

Two reasons: either all the story writers are in fact 1 single person or basically, we are all Singaporeans, maybe some foreigners as well lah - we have office hour jobs, steal some time in between work to write some installments, then go for lunch, eat snake write somemore, or go massage, then back to work, then go home, got privacy then write abit, then eat dinner, watch TV or go havoc, come home not too steam write abit then sleep.

Now if the story writer is a student, then it's a different spin - wake up, PCC, write abit of wet dream/fantasy before going to school, then daydream of that cute classmate, after school go home, PCC, then write somemore fantasy, then play computer games or another round of PCC before meeting friends for a drink at the local fast food joint, then go home, do homework, if not more fantasy writing before PCC and sleep.

With a lifestyle like that, no choice, have to write abit, stop abit, then continue lor. But Bro ct75, nice observation

One can choose to read the thread on ONS or flings if a short story is to be desired. I dunno if the threadstarter is lamenting or complaining but its an effort by the writer nonetheless. There are some writers who write with such speed but the text is littered with so many errors, its an effort to keep up and make sense of the contents. Prick also cannot get interested man...

1) story not nice also tio KP
2) story take too long to climax also tio KP
3) Installment of story too long also tio KP
4) story forget to write in paragraph or suitable fonts also tio KP
5) story too short not detailed also tio KP

the 5 holy KPs goes to show one thing, you can never satisfy each and everyone of the crowd.. pple write free story for you to enjoy abeit their free time, learn to appreciate it. Pple got to work also, you think they JIN YONG ah, full time writer and get paid for it?? no offences to anyone though

haha no lah... Im not pissed or even aroused by such stories.... I started the thread as a tongue in cheek dig at the same mode of operation between all the story writers. How they all have the same format haha haha haha.....
