PM Lee Hsien Loong deeply saddened by passing of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah -
SINGAPORE - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has said he is "deeply saddened" by the news that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia had died. "Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. My condolences to his family and the people of Saudi Arabia," PM Lee wrote on Facebook on Friday. King Abdullah, 90, died on Friday. He ruled Saudi Arabia since 2006, but had run the country as regent for a decade before that after his predecessor King Fahd suffered a debilitating stroke. -
