Before I look at US war with China we look back at British Empire opium war with China first.

Opium war in China was a trade war to force Chinese to open the country to opium trade whereas the Pommies bastard banned opium trade in their own country. As such this was a humiliating war on China.

The BE (British Empire) grow enormous amount of opium in India Calcutta with intent to flood opium in China. They monopolized the opium trade. The opium traders were mostly European who have access to these cheap opium which were intended for Chinese market and with good 2000% profit.

The sea routes in and out of Chinese water and SEA region were protected by pommies gunboats and Singapore and Straits Settlement was established as navy bases add more protections for the european traders.

The 8 alliances that attacked China in the first opium trade war can be say any european nations and UArseA will be happy to join the Pommies to attack China.

Joined the war attack Chinese has its benefits which forced the Chinese open more ports and more easy to sell opium to the Chinese if they succeeded.

The opium supplier was the BE monoploy the trade which at that time was also a dominant gunboats superpower than the rest of the Europeans nations combined. Don't follow can become enemy to the BE.

China has to ceded loss in the opium war becos of those reasons mentioned in 1836.
